I've only played a few minutes of this game by now, but theres sooooo much to say. In short, this game is Early Acces and it obviously shows. There are an unplayable amount of bugs in this game such as invicible constructing items, screenshake, UI issues, menu bugs, ... I love the idea, graphics and playstyle of this game but as of right now its bland, hard to play and very unpolished. It seems like if Raft met Firewatch and made a baby which is amazing and deceptively simple. Its peaceful and fun to play, while also being relatively complicated to survive. As of right now I wouldnt spend your money on this game unless you want to see this game make it like I do and want to support the developer. Although if this game will someday leave the deloping stage I will probably love it and so will many other people. I recommended this game just for better reviews and I believe someday this will be actually true but as of right now its too early to say.

Year 3515 in Earth's referential, all humans have left the earth hundreds a few years ago.
You're a member of an exploration team and part of the last humans there are still in the galaxy, researching about the lasts traces of humans on other planets including the Earth. Due to a lack of maintenance and strange magnetic events, your ship on-board computer failed. Forced to land, you end up alone in various harsh environments. From there you will now have to survive, and use what's left of your instincts and abilities to understand your needs and your environment.
Gameplay
In The Hideaway Exploration mode, you'll be able to explore and discover many different biomes and microenvironments, from fauna to flora, with realistic meteorological events, sounds and much more, in a calm and soothing experience. Trying to find a way to extract from your environment
However, if you play in Survival mode, nature will exercise its rights over you and may become either your home or your worst enemy. In the survival mode of The Hideaway, diseases, global energy, hunger, thirst, body temperature, exterior temperature, blood pressure and volume, poisonous plants, and much more will make the wilderness a harsh place,

- Minimalistic UI : The UI Is very minimalistic, it's only here to tell you what you need to know and can be completely hidden by pressing the Tab key by default
- Procedural worlds : Each game will be different. As the weather and sky events are procedurally generated, animal proportions and pickable wood quantities are evolving perpetually, a game can easily turn from a walk in the forest to a survival challenge.

Absolutely broken. To start, when you want to jump into the game, it defaults to Exploration every single time. There's the Tutorial, Survival and Exploration tabs in the upper left that are easy to miss. Why wouldn't it default to Tutorial for your first time? Anyway, from there the tutorial is just a bunch of pop-ups that tell you what to do without you actually doing them until the tutorial is over. After I went through all of the pop-ups, my screen was shaky and I couldn't get it to stop. It was showing that I was cold, but standing literally on top of the fire did nothing. Then, I somehow got bit by a snake, but my health was full the whole time and all of a sudden I just dropped dead. So I jump into Survival. Well, I TRIED. Three times, actually. When you load into Survival, the screen is black with text giving a brief explanation of what happened and your goal. Well, before that screen even disappeared, an animal killed me. Don't even know what it was. So I started out dead. ...
Wow bro, I cant even in good faith give you $1.99 for this game. Requesting a refund. This seems like some sort of high school computer graphics art project. This isnt even a Game. THIS IS NOT EVEN A GAME! Why are you taking up valuable server space on Steam for this Royal piece of Garbage. Stop Stealing. Stop Stealing. Your like a Homeless person managing to squeeze $1.99 out of passerbys in order to go buy a McDonalds Cheeseburger. Get a real job, leave the gaming design to people who actually have some educational background in such things. Why is it so hard to find a good game anymore?
