ENTER THE JUNGLE

Incursion Red River lets you engage with up to 3 of your friends as squadmates throughout a destabilized Vietnam. Complete Operations and Tasks from 3 diverse factions throughout multiple detailed maps to increase your reputation and rewards. Shoot and loot your way through immersive and deadly AI encounters in the tropics to gain influence and wealth, or die trying and lose it all.

PLAN AHEAD FOR YOUR DEPLOYMENT

Incursion Red River provides the player with a balanced first-person experience that feels realistic, yet fun. Equipment and weapons influence ergonomics and combat playstyle, so you will need to pick your loadout carefully. Access the Marketplace to purchase limited quantities of weapons, medical equipment, gear, and ammunition. Whether you prefer to be scoped from afar or keeping things close and personal, loud or quiet, day or night, rain or shine- you choose how you get the task done. Simulated ballistic systems affect weapons and have unique characteristics that can be adjusted with attachments. Bringing in the right gear, having a proper plan of attack, and emphasizing tactical plays will maximize the success rate for deployments.

CUSTOMIZE TO YOUR OWN STYLE

You have the ability to select and fully customize a wide variety of weapons and gear. Swap out barrels, handguards, foregrips, stocks, sights or magazines and turn your trusty Kalashnikov from a close-quarters menace, into a deadly accurate long range rifle. Utilize the Gunsmith table to save & load your favorite presets.

However, the customizable experience doesn’t stop at your loadout. Play to your strengths or call out your weaknesses by adjusting or fine tuning AI difficulty at any point to ensure you always have the right level of challenge.

INVESTIGATE AND SURVIVE

After a 10 year war, the People's Liberation Army repels invasion in Vietnam and through continued Soviet backing, arms manufacturing and exporting prosper; along with the country as a whole.

20 years later the Soviet Union collapses. Vietnam seeks a source of stabilization, hesitantly finding it in the United States, who soon takes it too far. In response, China funds a political party in their image, the Vietnamese Communist Union Party (VCUP), leading to the old government of Vietnam being overthrown in a coup.

The less-than-fair election sparks a full civil war. China allies with Russia to repel the West, sending in the Iron Guard Corps (IGC). Western nations send “humanitarian aid” via United Intercontinental Security (UICS), and sick of endless imperialism, the Vietnamese Liberation Front (VLF) rises among the local population to free Vietnam.

The civil war soon dissolves into a faction war. A mysterious black-ops corporation known as FANG sends YOU to the country to investigate the factions for a hidden microwave weapon, last located in the Red River Delta region.

YOU will be contracted by each faction to urge closer to finding the weapon while unearthing dishonest motivations and making difficult calls.

MAKE CONTACT WITH THE LOCALS

UNITED INTERCONTINENTAL SECURITY (UICS)

While some members offer aid and relief to the wartorn Vietnam, others have found destroying communism to be a more worthy goal. Funded by a large corporation, NATO holds the strings, using the UICS to expand its influence.

VIETNAMESE LIBERATION FRONT (VLF)

The growing movement of veterans, rebels, and old-government resources means the VLF has become a serious threat. VLF strategic, violent raids continue to succeed against invading factions and traitorous locals alike.

IRON GUARD CORPS (IGC)

The IGC, formed by China and Russia, fights to prop up a sympathetic government. Better for Vietnam to be supported by neighbors than the capitalist West. In order to avoid a full world war the IGC must balance military action and deniability.

Tarkov but single-player. Even has a difficulty adjuster. PERFECT for you fellow dads that like high risk high reward tactical shooters but don't have the time to get good enough to compete with other dudes. Oh, and yes. You CAN pause the game mid match.

Average PvE only extraction shooter not bad but not great either. Unfortunately there is just nothing here that makes this stand out above other games in the genre. Only has 2 maps with very limited objectives. Technically it is also a mess. Very long load times, frequent bugs including but not limited to visual, audio, and inventory management bugs. Gun play is good. Actually has a really nice mechanic of decoupling "Stealth" and crouch which sounds weird but works really well. Lean mechanics are actually useful unlike many other games that have leans. AI is a mixed bag that needs some more tuning as it goes from absolutely dumber than a box of rocks that is totally oblivious and run face first into gunfire to omnipotent delta force snipers that flank from all angles and insta-lock you as soon as you peak out of cover and nothing in between. Overall the game has the ground work necessary to be good eventually but it's just not there right now.

Great game (with friends), but needs more content. Issues: You can buy most weapons immediately and just scopes and attachments need to be earned. Faction progression is too slow and pretty much only unlocks attachments (nothing cool). Black market removes the satisfaction of finding rare gear. (make it more expensive or simulate OOS properly) Needs more maps - Quarry gets repetitive after 5+ raids. Bunker is excellent and shows what's possible. Biggest problem: lack of meaningful progression. Need collectibles, achievements, or goals beyond faction levels that actually feel rewarding to pursue. Mission system is a bit too slow - I had to do 5+ (successful) raids to get another a mission than collect and place intel. But the new missions I got now are 10/10, the Terminal would be kinda hard for anyone that doesnt work with a Terminal once in a while. (personally I like it but I can see a lot of people not being able to do that) Bottom line: Solid beta with great potential. Will de...

Okay... so Incursion: Red River... it's... not even decent for an Alpha. Pros: +No chance of cheaters. +Decent Looting System +Good Graphics(UE5) That's... about where the list ends. Cons: -Texture glitching(A lot) -Missions... currently don't work. -Only two maps. -Gunplay sucks. -Bots are tards unless on highest diff. -Map design is kind of ass. -Marketplace assets(everywhere) -Map design feels like something out of 2004 or Unturned. -Gun Sounds are akin to slapping cans against one another, some have obscene reverb for some reason while others sound like the gun was fired in a soundproof room. Total Score for an Alpha? 4/10. If it gets better down the line and the devs actually put in the work and make their own assets then sure, I could see this being worth it, but there are so many assets that are asset rips, such as trucks that have no wheels or breaks and the axels are just a straight shaft. Or how about the same truck pasted a dozen times over the map to fill it? Point is,...

If you enjoy extract shooters but don't want to deal with no life sweats / be able to play more casually because of other games or life. Highly recommend! Multiple difficulty settings so you can make it as much of a challenge as you want Weapons look great, feel great. cant wait for more to be added. the 2 current maps are great, quarry is a great intro to the game, helping learn the play. Bunker is a nice step up with no mini map to follow Decent mission & task system - is getting a bit repetitive but definitely has the foundations for more to be added (and im sure the devs are onto this) More maps, gear & guns will be refreshing to someone who has clocked 40h since 1.2. still a great game and really enjoying it. Over all amazing game so far. Really looking forward to what is to come. I will for sure keep coming back

Nothing bad to say really. The price is very good for the amount of content that there already is in this game, and going by their roadmap and the things i've seen in-game they are obviously going to add a lot more content. Gun-play is on point, and there's a wide selection of different weapons and ammo types to use in order to deal with most situations. I haven't come across any major game-breaking issues, exploring all the different camps and stations is very rewarding because both the spawn location of most containers and the contents are somewhat random, you never know what you'll find. And ontop of everything else it's a PvE focused extraction shooter, which we have very few GOOD ones out there.

Needs a LOT more depth. And I mean a LOT. Early Access I know, but still the game feels like a bit a skeleton. Bare bones. Im sure that will change... but for the moment, I would wait.

Really fun game if you're an extraction shooter lover but would like a more relaxed/dad friendly approach. If you play solo, you can pause the game anytime so really usefull when you got a baby/young kid but still want to play that kind of game. As a Gray Zone vet, I now only play Incursion. It may not look as good as Gray Zone (I don't think many shooters do) but I gota say the gameplay is a lot more fun because of the looting you can do in raids. You don't have to complete 15+ missions just to unlock a silencer, you may be able to loot it! Really active devs, always listening to what we think about the game. This game has a huge potential and I believe the dev team is the right one to unleash that potential.

It's essentially PvE Tarkov lite, with price accounted and current available content I say it's worth it if you plan to play once in a while. Don't expect Tarkov levels of quality. But the experience is almost the same. Bare in mind the game is not finished there are some really mushy/lowres textures right now. I have lag and slow downs a lot, and loading times are quite long. But I still enjoyed my experience with it. The GOOD: AI is smart and will not just stand there as you shoot at it. They will take cover and actively flank you. They react quickly, far to quick for a human to react as soon as your bullet is flying they will immediately find cover. But they can be configure to be blind as a bat if you want it to be easier. I like the gun configuration system. It's as in depth as Arm3, for example some sights have extra rails on them for a red dot. There are canted sights available. Complete overhaul of weapons. Though the weapon selection is a bit limited right now (still qu...
