Really fun simple gameplay loop, unique character designs, & enjoyable mechanics such as permanent upgrades & bonus stat values.

[b]TL;DR[/b] Fun to play… until you finish the main progression. Then it’s just you, the grind, and your poor overheating PC. [hr][/hr] [b]Overview[/b] There’s no grand epic tale here — you literally just [b]spawn in and try not to die[/b]. You get: [list] [*]16 characters [*]4 stages [*]A ridiculous pile of items to mix, match, and wonder, “What if I combine this with THAT?” [/list] Game modes & challenges (x Stage): [list] [*]5 preset difficulties [*]Endless mode after those 5 (for when you really want to suffer) [*]x2 mode that doubles everything [*]Custom stat multiplier: from +100% to an absurd +9,999 × 100% [/list] Yes, you can mix these settings however you want. Example: 1st difficulty, no x2, but 5000× enemy stats… or x2 mode with +9000% stats on Endless. The possibilities range from “chill walk in the woods” to “what is wrong with me?” [hr][/hr] [b]Grinding: The True Story Mode[/b] Can you actually beat +999900% enemies? Yes — but only if ...

Pretty fun, especially for the surprisingly low asking price. I can already see myself playing this off and on years down the line, particularly when I get that crusader's itch. The only bad thing, it appears there is not a necromancer class. Maybe for a future update or dlc, pretty please?

I gave the game a chance and I'm impressed, recommended! The dev is fairly active with lots of updates still coming in. Here's what I like: - Upgrades feel impactful; every level up serves a purpose - Nice graphics. Lots of little details relating to attacks, spells, status, etc - Spells and upgrades include lots of creative ideas - Not many +/- upgrades: like when +5 atk, -3 armor. They exist, but not enough to feel like every upgrade is a downgrade. - Perm upgrades aren't absurdly expensive - Enemies are intelligently designed. Nice diversity in enemy behavior after first biome - Lots of characters to choose from for playstyle diversity - Monster cards for infinite perma progress is cool for players that want ultra progression - Rounds aren't too long; they're about 20 mins each up until the finish - Support for lots of languages Here are some areas for improvement: - Controller support, while decent, is incomplete.
