I feel like this game is pretty unbalanced at the moment with no way of healing yourself and enemies doing an ungodly amount of damage even on Normal difficulty with movement patterns you can't even dodge because you're too slow. It also doesn't help that 80% of the weapons are basically RNG based and you have almost no way of controlling them. For example the starting rifle can only shoot to the left and right but enemies will come from above and below which not only makes killing them a pain in the ass but collecting the XP they drop almost impossible. The next point is it seems like there is no XP scaling as you progress. enemies will become harder to kill but XP rewards stay at level 1 basically makes leveling near impossible after minute 3. - some kind of healing option would be nice or make the player faster/some enemies slower so you can actually dodge them especially "the wing" enemy - a post game progression system would be nice, upgrading stats and what not -some seriou...

Good start on a VS clone, the play quality is commensurate to the current price. Don't drop the project and I hope GW doesn't sue.
Vampire Survivors was incredibly rewarding to play for hours. I couldn't stop playing it for over five days. I played an hour and a half of this one and I have 0 progress after Easy difficulty. It's like Vampire Survivors if VS was WAY harder and less rewarding. The RNG on weapon choices makes it impossible to progress especially when most of the choices are awful.
A nice addition to the likes of Vampire Survivors. Severely lacking content at the time of review, but has potential. The translations need a native speaker's touch, and most of the mechanics need re-balancing, but it's tolerable for a day zero release. Learn how to fucking balance gameplay, the first level on NORMAL difficulty shouldn't be fucking impossible.
Will change review during EA. So far its unbalanced ( mob from beginning give the same xp as later waves, homing enemies ( charge one rarely miss), spawn rate too tight ( which doesn't help with the kite), most weapons simply suck due to very low damage or frequency that is abysmal ( and with the xp problem is really doesn't help the game since that take way to long to be somewhat viable) There some graphical glitch ( like lag with those weird artefacts that happen like those old tv when they didn't receive the signal well) Seem they took their inspiration by the game Vampire Survivor, sadly so far its a poor attempt to copy its success.
Extremely bare bones at launch. Avoid.
Default movement speed is painfully slow and weapon upgrade progression is similarly paced and overall unsatisfying. It may be only early access, but the gameplay is very tedious and does not show the same potential that Vampire Survivors did at its early access launch. I think it needs a lot of work before it deserves to be compared to the other games it is emulating.
It's a fun game that doesn't take that long to unlock the different weapons and characters. Just requires some common sense and experimentation. While this game doesn't have the depth and complexity nor the quality of life features for which Vampire Survivors is known, this game is still in early access and shows some promise. The only frustrating thing is that you have to purchase upgrades every time you start a new mission, and then you lose those upgrades when you're done, for better or for worse. This lack of permanent character building is a bit of a bummer, but getting more coins to upgrade your character when you start a new mission isn't that difficult. Yes, you CAN heal yourself, but you have to purchase that upgrade every time you start a new mission. Sometimes there will be a hamburger that shows up which heals you for 50 points. I've read some of the reviews and I'm completely baffled at how they can't make any progress in easy mode. If they can't survive the eight m...
I first tried this game back in November, and it looks like the game hasn't received actual content or balance updates since. For shame, too, because while a StarCraft-ian space marine take on Vampire Survivors is certainly a nice and fresh take (at least visually) on the bullet heaven genre, this game just doesn't have enough elements in place to be really worth it. The matches are short and it takes most of the match to build up a sufficient firepower to feel somewhat of a menace, but stage completion really comes just shortly after on both of the game's maps. You can then replay said maps on various extra difficulties and with new characters, but it's hardly worth it when there isn't even permanent upgrades, only coins you can choose to spend before a run which are then lost forever. The difficulty balance also feels off, with no real healing options and Normal difficulty already being an enormous step up from Easy. Apparently there's plans for many more maps, characters and more, b...
