About This Game

Watchmen: The End Is Nigh Part 2 delves further into the partnership of Rorschach and Nite Owl before the hero-banning Keene Act. It’s now June 1977, and any day now the passage of the Keene Act will outlaw all masked vigilantes not sanctioned by the government. Rorschach contacts Nite Owl to get his help in solving the case of a missing girl, Violet Greene. Their search takes them deep into the depraved, sleazy corners of the city and eventually face-to-face with the mysterious Twilight Lady.

  • Play as the Watchmen characters Rorschach and Nite Owl, each of whom have their own unique abilities:
    • Rorschach, a feral, street-wise fighter who can disarm enemies to use their own weapons against them
    • Nite Owl, a refined fighter who uses martial arts expertise and high-tech wizardry

  • Fight and watch the blood fly through three chapters of gut-wrenching in your face action
  • Intense, visceral - battles fight up to 20 enemies at the same time with bloody, street-fighting moves
  • Clean up the streets with friends in split screen co-op multiplayer competition or solo

WHO WATCHES THE WATCHMEN? Seriously, who? Definitely not Alan Moore, he once said something along the lines of Watchmen only working as a comic. Probably not Dave Gibbons either, even though he served as a consultant for the game, primarily to help preserve the aesthetic and atmosphere. So what barely held up in Part One of The End is Nigh, completely falls apart in Part Two, showing glaring weaknesses and being narratively disappointing. Yes, Rorschach is a tragic extremist with problematic views and a tendency toward moral absolutism, and Dan (Nite Owl II) is a failed idealist searching for meaning in a cynical world, stumbling between moral uncertainty and personal longing. This thing also distorts the original character of the Twilight Lady and the game’s story feels like a simplification or sensationalization of what Moore and Gibbons originally created. And just because Sylvia Kovacs was a violent prostitute who regularly abused her son Walter aka Rorschach, or because the ...

Pros: ✔New story and slightly different locations that refresh the gameplay a bit. ✔The third mission stands out and adds some memorable action. ✔A boss fight and even a hero-vs-hero showdown were included. ✔The option to play in co-op, which enhances the experience. ✔The game can be finished quickly and doesn’t overstay its welcome. Cons: ➖Essentially the same game as Part 1, just with a different story. ➖The story is even shorter and feels unfinished — as if rushed to match the film’s release. ➖Gameplay remains repetitive: long corridors and endless fistfights. ➖Combat, while dynamic, loses its sense of epicness quickly. ➖Without the context of the comic or movie, the game feels shallow. ➖Today, the co-op mode is unlikely to work properly, making it hard to experience the game as intended. Conclusion: Watchmen: The End Is Nigh Part 2 isn’t really a full-fledged sequel, but more of a second episode of the same game. Yes, it’s short and...

Don't expect much, combat similar to the Arkham series. Very linear. If you are a fan of the movie Watchmen then id say its worth it for Rorschach's ramblings. Also worth noting you have a strip club level, and a diddy mansion level with hookers and gimps. The bundle for part 1 and 2 goes on sale for { $1.99 USD }, 1 dollar per game, about 2-3 hours of playtime a piece.
