A solid, if flawed, little horror-ish walking simulator. You are exploring what happened with the crew of a remote outpost, There is no light, so you have to cast lidar dots in order to see the environment. It's not very well defined why you can't have light, yet computers and other machines are powered up, but just go with it. Most of the gameplay consists of exploring the environments and casting lidar dots on things, to see what's happening. You read an occasional log unrolling the plot. There is also some platforming, light puzzles (connecting power cords) and avoiding automated turrets and other things. Writing is servicable, but nothing special. I was intrigued enough at least to unroll it until the end. The biggest flaw of the game is how painting the environment is handled. All dots are permanent (and are in fact scored at the end). Which means your lidar gun isn't all that fast. Which means you'll spend quite a bit of time just casting dots around, This is,,, *fine...
