TLDR: Devs need to optimize the game, and fix all the bugs, only leaving a negative review, because there is no middle option. First off. The game is beautiful. The three cities are expansive, and immersive. Definitely some collision issues, and for some reason wants to cook your pc, but other than that, it’s easy to get lost in the sauce. Except for the second world. It is by far the most demanding on your pc. Combat is pretty janky, it doesn’t feel smooth. Enemies will quit literally slide across the ground or straight up freeze in place. Only staggering them will pull them out of it. I’ve tried to trouble shoot why vsync isn’t able to be turned on. Switched settings to borderless, manually turned it on via nvidia control panel. No luck, screen tears are constantly pulling me out of the immersion. Tried to find solutions in the discord, but to no avail. All n all this games biggest problem is the optimization. It’s way too demanding on resources for what ...

This game does not deserve to stay in the Mixed Reviews let's face it. It is slightly unpolished yes, and the AI of some of the enemies borks in very rare instances, but it is a solid game well worth its price if you get it on a discount, and a great story.

The game have major compatibility issues, like the UE Fatal Error, which makes the game unplayable, and the devs or the support doesn't give you answers. The game is abandoned, is a waste of money

No update since March, I'm afraid if this game might have no more supports.

I did 3 playthoughs of this game.it's time to say yay or nay. Honestly, I enjoyed the game even though it does not lack in sometimes infuriating shortcomings and mechanics. E.g. - bugged achievements, you may be lucky and get it or not. Also, need 2 NGs for some and HP scaling in NG+ is off the charts (or so I hear). - Ranged enemies that fire at you, with no indication on when you should parry, in a melee game where you have limited ranged options. Oh, every hit stuns you and you may fall to your death. - Poison is way too strong. If you get poisoned, you are pretty much dead. - If you an enemy start charging at the same time, you will always lose (again every hit stuns you) - Game may crush now and then - Pretty much you can forget dodging, enemies lock on you and do not miss. So, game has some mechanics that is known in the genre, parry until you fill the gauge then a huge hit (if you have a weapon that can dish out unraveling damage). 4 elements rock-paper-scissor style. Each ha...

Unfortunately this is exactly the kind of game one should avoid in this genre.

At the moment I'm writing this, I just started NG+. I had A LOT of fun playing this game and was kinda sad when I finished Litumnia that only the final boss was ahead of me (considering the end I chose). HOWEVER... The game has severe bugs related to dialogue. Many times I had to restart the game or change areas to complete dialogues and get rewards I was due. That made me really sad. Game's been out for a year... Studio just announced another game at Gamescom. And Enotria still has these kind of bugs? I had a list with small QoL suggestions I was going to post here or on their Discord. But after going through all the dialogue bugs. Nevermind. JUST PLEASE, FIX THE BUGS! Give this game the love it deserves. Such a beautiful story, scenarios, the MUSIC! I am in love with all that. Gameplay felt good too and the mask system was a lot of fun. But the bugs I found simply shouldn't exist. It's kinda of insulting. Still, I recommend this game. It's a lovely soulslike. Just be pati...

The lock-on is practically useless, spinning the camera wildly 95% of the time instead of actually locking on to any enemies. I could not even reach the first boss due to this, and spent much of my time instead dying to basic enemies as I struggled to dodge their attacks or hit them. In addition to this, the level up system appears to not function when using a controller, not allowing you to select which stats you'd like to increase.

While I am enjoying the game overall, I just can't recommend it in its current state. I hate leaving a "negative" review, and if there was a middle option, I'd choose it. Anyway- Pros: The art style is wonderful and exploration feels rewarding. Weapons feel unique and the various elemental damages are mostly not the standard ones you see in games, which makes it feel more fresh. Combat can be a little janky, but overall feels pretty standard for the genre. The mask and aspect system is honestly pretty cool, which can lead to some decent buildcrafting. The overall map/world design flows pretty well too. Cons: The difficulty spike around the midway point is just ridiculous; Bosses constantly input reading and are capable of (cheap) one shots no matter your build (often paired with atrocious camera work that makes the fights occasionally feel RNG based), while bearing some mildly rough run backs for said bosses. The game bugs out fairly often. Sometimes you're lucky and it'll be a ...
