There's a major bug with the RC car not moving in the very first level unless you turn on V-Sync. Once you finally made it past that, it's pretty impossible to beat the boss in level 2. At least fix the game before slapping it on Steam and calling it a day.

Love beating people as a depressed bat does crash a TON first launch, go to properties, verify local files, then launch game go to graphics, v-sync. should run crash free after.
the game is just as good as i remember as a kid, BUT keep in mind it does have issues with crashing, it took me up to an hour just to get it fixed and playable without crashing. in game video settings turn vsync on and make sure you go to launch options under properties in steam library on the game and put "-windowed" on the launch options. should be crash free and smooth. the game ran wayyy better on windowed with no crashes.
If you're an OG Batman fan who loves his universe and like games that require you to THINK in order to solve puzzles, this is an amazing game to both indulge your love of Batman and also games that make you think critically. I've played virtually all of the Lego games ignoring the past 2-3 years, and this is the most pure formula where the world is self contained enough but also feeling vast, without making things over convoluted and feeling like the game is giving you busywork. The attention to detail of not only Batman but his Rogue's Gallery as well is just an absolute joy to witness in gaming form, if you LOVE Batman or you love the old school problem solving mentality of early Lego games, you owe it to yourself to pick this up. All the gushing aside, this is surprisingly one of the more STABLE Lego games I've ever played even on my Xbox some of the later titles are just a mess of glitches and crashes, I have played this game on 3 different computers with different operating syste...
The robot gets stuck in one of the crawling under a building so u cant move further on in the game. DEVS PLEASE FIX
one of my most favorite childhood games that still holds up shockingly well. that is to say, there's definitely a lot of clunk and some lackluster levels but the overall package that is this game is so so solid. genuinely maybe the best depiction of gotham city and its inhabitants in any piece of media ever
Legos and Batman. (Also, turn of ambient occlusion for this game, it looks awful).
Though this game is a masterpiece, this port is unplayable. For some odd reason, anytime a character goes up a slope, they cant. Most levels require you to go on sloped surfaces, and this glitch makes it impossible to progress. This game is fun, but play it on a different platform.
I tried to complete the first episode 3 times and it kept glitching and kicking me out of the game, whether its my fault or not i'm too annoyed to figure it out now.
The amount of bugs in this game are too much for me to deal with, in the first level I could barely move the car to move onto the next level and in the second I couldn't even finish it because I couldn't walk up the metal slope as well as it crashed a few times. However I should have expected that as it's from 2008
