About This Game

Save humanity from alien invaders - choose between ships, weapons, talents, upgrades, modifiers and perks!

Choices with Depth

Explode the entire screen, shoot out massive volleys in all directions or just dish out massive damage. Every weapon and ship is different and fits some niche. Tailor your arsenal to maximize the fun you're having, as there isn't just one path to victory.

Fun Difficulty

The enemies you'll be facing aren't static. They'll shoot at you, charge at you and in general try to give you a bad time, but the game isn't out there to crush you... unless you want it to try. Every perk in the Command Center will be counter-acted by an enemy perk of your choice - strategize to gain the biggest advantage, or create absolute bedlam and try to survive. After that, how well will you fare in other universes, where the invaders are stronger?

Plenty Of Unlocks

Obtain achievements, upgrade your starting stats, unlock different ships, rank up in the Command Center and climb up the Multiverse ladder to become the ultimate Hero!

Features

 • 11 Unique Ships
 • 30 Perks that heavily shake up the game
 • 22 Modifiers from bosses fitting into many playstyles
 • Many cool Talents, Weapons, Upgrades and Meta-Upgrades
 • Quick playthroughs that last around 12-18 minutes each

This is an entertaining survivors game with some unique ideas and a lot of unlockables. Underlying game is great, but has a "visual clusterf^@#" aesthetic that could be improved. After thinking about it for a while, I think the problem with the current graphics (on EA release date btw), is that there is no emphasis of importance (meaning everything is actively vying for your attention, from your own engine trails, missile trails, giant bullets, explosion effects, enemy projectiles, item pickups, enemies ranging from giant to microscopic, and gigantic arrows pointing to distant planets) so you have to stress yourself trying to decipher what is on the screen. Another aspect of this problem is the coloring of enemies and projectiles (including your own), doesn't seem to convey anything. The colors as far as I could tell so far are mostly arbitrary (such as square enemies having 5 different colors, my own projectiles having multiple colors, and enemy projectiles having multiple colors) ...

A few good ideas built without understanding several key game design principles, or what makes the genre tick.
The Good
-The idea of selecting your weapon for a fire rate bonus is very nice and, on paper, it gives you some freedom for tackling different situations while letting you work towards becoming a screen-clearing bullet spewing monstrosity. In practice the system is nearly irrelevant due to the short length of the runs - you will probably only have 2 weapons by the end. -The Command Center is a great concept executed fairly decently. As your reputation level reaches certain levels, you choose 1 of 3 available upgrades for yourself alongside 1 of 3 upgrades for enemies per tier. The bonuses, while not very well balanced (some are massively useful while others disproportionately weak or awful to deal with) are fairly unique. -Moving around to save planets ranked by difficulty helps give each run a flexible structure, at least on paper. The ratio of difficulty to rewar...

I am enjoying this game. it is a very simple bullet hell game. the RNG can make or break your build, making you fail some attempts while winning others.

It's probably a pretty decent game, but I just could not get into it. I found it hard to keep track of my ship midst all the enemies/projectiles. I also find the bright colors + bloom effect not to help. Playing this for longer periods of time would definitely give me a headache. Sorry, just not for me. Had to refund this pretty much immediately.

Amazing game. Challenging but so fun. I only like the ship that shoots in all directions so I can't be bothered by the game's progression, but it's so goddamn fun. Actually an improvement over vampire survivors. Love the end cube surprise. Surprising how a game with cubes can give such cosmic horror vibes.

Review: Tuesday 6, September, 2022 Pretty nice vampire survivors-like with a spaceship in space theme. Score: I give it a 4.5 of 5 stars. PD: To the devs: More content would be nice, keep improving it. It's very nice.
