About This Game

Planet Surfer will have you gripping the keyboard as adrenaline is pumping through your body as you race across galactic landscapes while dodging dangerous obstacles and collecting powerful upgrades.

Planet Surfer is a non-stop anti-gravity survival racer and the ultimate forward scrolling don’t run into stuff game developed as a love letter to the temple run quintet and the early 3d sonic games. Set in the distant future, you glide through obstacle heavy terrain trying to reach the end of 40+ levels while weaving through everything from trees to spike traps floating on lava.

Put your skills to the test and run through our unique forward scrolling universe to save the world from destruction... before it's too late!

Features:

*Explore 40+ hand crafted obstacle dense courses dispersed across 4 different semi-realistic biomes including Earth, a dessert planet, a water dense beach planet, the stories central fire planet, “Voltanis”, plus one unrealistic, meme filled, unlock-able biome.

*New to racer/runner survival games? No Problem!! Planet surfer provides various tutorials and allows for the player to have plenty of room to try and try again until they graduate from cadet to captain and acquire insane reflexes.

*Navigate across the various levels going to any place you have unlocked whenever you desire with an immersive level/planet select menu.

*Participate in a very “meta” story where your character is in a VR space competing in a drone navigation program to get to be the person allowed to take a chance at controlling a real drone on a one time, make it or break it, mission to save the universe.

*Experience the inside of your ship from a first person prospective including your very own living space, hologram machine, and “swively” captains chair.

*Earn coins by hitting all the checkpoints in any given level which are sometimes place in locations requiring reflexes to reach, sometimes placed in locations that require exploration to discover, and sometimes are just a bit of puzzle.

*Spend coins in an interactive upgrade shop on your ship to unlock new abilities, enhance abilities, customize your ship, and unlock bonus levels.

Unlock abilities including (but not limited to):

*Phase Dash: You can literally phase through obstacles in a dashing motion for a limited period
*Jump booster: Once you unlock this the game takes on a 3d platformer element.
*Shrink Drive: So you can fit in the small places temporarily.
*Time slowing drive: For the moments in the game that would be near impossible without it.

Combine your various abilities in unique ways to get through levels in ways that are creative and fit your play style.

Experience alternate endings depending on whether you succeed or fail on your final mission making for a fun story experience. (Players are not intended to succeed on their first try of the final mission but if they do, we want to hear about it!)

Prepare yourself, the late game tracks are extremely difficult and will likely not be beaten by most players due to sheer difficulty. That is OK, the planet surfer program probably should not have entrusted the fate of the universe to gamers.. But, they did.

*Warning: Planet Surfer contains fast moving imagery and various effects such as white flashes that may potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy.

This game is a total time-sucker! I just can't put it down - no matter how hard I try. Every 5 minutes turns into an hour of pure gaming pleasure without me even noticing the passing of time. It truly captures my attention and keeps me captivated for hours on end! (I get you can play levels without hitting checkpoints but I can't bring myself to do it)

If you are into runners like Temple Run, or Subway Surfers, this is one you should grab right now. If you are a casual runner player, this has a difficulty curve for you, but if you really want a challenge, try hardcore mode. What's different about this game, is that you get different tools at your disposal the further you get into the game.

An out of this world, non-stop anti-gravity racer game that'll have you gripping the keyboard as adrenaline is pumping through your body! Race across galactic landscapes while dodging dangerous obstacles and collecting powerful upgrades. Put your skills to the test as you run through our unique forward scrolling universe before it's too late...and save the world from destruction! -Love the different abilities paired with the nonstop runner mechanic. It's so thrilling when you shrink through a gap, then jump over an obstacle and phase dash through another obstacle in a combo. -The first couple levels are a bit easy for me but once you reach about level 11 it's hold on to your seat time if you want even a small chance at getting all the checkpoints. -Absolutely in love with the water levels. 3D Platforming at it's finest. -People who have played through the first 15 levels will agree that though it is definitely an indie game it is well worth more than $5. The first few levels are re...

An enjoyable game which invokes feelings of 'Temple Run' and other runners; except with stages instead of being endless. With challenging stages requiring quick reflexes and some memory to hit all the targets; it never strays into the realm of feeling unfair and feels quite satisfying to get to that next stage.

I waited to write this review until after I had 100% completed all of the content in the game, and I'm glad I decided to take on the challenge of completing everything. It was worth every second. I love this game. It is dripping with creativity and passion that is evident in its creation. The level design is creative and unique, and I found myself often trapped in a "one more try" cycle when facing a difficult level. What I thought would be a couple 10 minute play sessions ended up turning into me syncing in nearly 10 hours into the game in the space of a couple days. Very few other games have done that for me (namely Celeste, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, and Super Mario Galaxy). As I unlocked more abilities and became more skilled, I found myself solving levels in ways completely different than I ever believed possible, and even found some creative shortcuts that somehow gave me a feeling I hadn't felt since playing MarioKart Wii. I am not sure how to describe how that is pos...

I loved the challenge of this game. The turtles took me by surprise and kind of freaked me out. But that was part of the fun. I hope to master them someday. I liked the graphics and I will keep trying to master this game.

Planet surfer is super fun game to play, especially with people from all different age groups. Everyone (both young and old) can understand the simple and intuitive controls. I'm excited to see what else Mount Verita comes up with. The cat arcade mode is definitely my favorite mode, especially after 1000 points. I love having competitions with my friends using the arcade mode.
