This one I feel is even more fun than it's predecessor. The array of weaponry, and the multiple fun minor characters really made it for me. If I died, I never felt let down, I'd jump back immediately. The exploration felt fun, uncovering more places as you went, and gaining abilities with the resources you found. Certainly not a new innovation, but hey, they did it right. I really enjoyed this game, and hope that there is a 3rd in the series to come.

What if we gave the turnip a gun.
So, caveat to those expecting more of the first game, this game changes up a lot of what the original does to really flesh out the roguelite train gameplay into a game. That being said, it can be quite fun when it works (there's a certain formula to the non-randomized rooms that can be interesting; there's more of the fun dialog here and there, bosses mix things up a bit) and annoying/frustrating when it doesn't (some weapons just don't work well, random temporary weapons you find are often better than the basic ones, the randomization of side-rooms can lead you to refreshing things several times before you 'find' the room w/ the npc you're looking for to complete a quest). I'd still say it needs a lot of work, as the original has much cleaner boss battles, and most of the time I was looking for 'rare' weapons like the fish (a good melee temp melee weapon in the beginning) that you should hold onto so you can easily deal w/ enemies to help defeat bosses, but it's still a solid game, ...
Another great submission in the series of Turnip Boys! Definitely a different play style from the first but I still loved it and had a blast getting 100% of the achievements !
