About This Game

An impossible object lost to time. An eerie basement hiding an untold story. A seemingly innocent game begging to be played. That's what greets you when the elevator doors open and you stare into a room you've been trying to find for years. Just what happened down here? Only you can find out by exploring this abandoned room and unlocking the devices strewn around it. Point, click, flick, and rotate your way through a huge variety of different types of puzzles safe in the knowledge there is an in-built hint system if you ever get stuck. That old monitor glowing in the distance looks like a good place to start...

Welcome to CRT7, an escape room puzzle game about power, obsession, and regret from the award-winning creator of SOLAS 128.

The core loop is simple:

  • Figure out how the monitor works

  • Play games to generate power and bring the room back to life

  • Explore the room and decypher mysterious devices to progress

  • Uncover why you are here...

Features:

  • Procedurally generated music which reacts to you playing

  • A dark narrative about creation to piece together

  • At least one (1) fully rendered 3D room to explore

  • Strange retro devices to prod and poke

  • A state-of-the-art* in-game phone with hint system

  • A challenging mystery for fans of escape rooms

  • An immersive creepy atmosphere with no jump scares
