As soon as I opened the game, the music hit me with enough nostalgia to put someone into a coma. I grew up with this game. I miss the multiplayer, but the campaign will keep me entertained for hours

About This Game
In Crysis 3 Remastered, the fate of the world is once again in your hands. Returning to the fight as super-soldier Prophet, wielding a powerful auto-loading Predator Bow that fires electric, explosive, and carbon arrows, take on new and old enemies that threaten the peace you worked so hard to achieve. The search for the alien Alpha Ceph continues, but now you must also expose the truth behind the C.E.L.L. corporation, which has turned New York City into a sprawling urban rainforest sheltered by a giant nanodome. Equipped with your legendary Nanosuit, you must assess, adapt, and attack as you choose your path and fight through seven distinct districts. Decimate your opponents in a blaze of brute force using the Nanosuit's superior technology, or use stealth to achieve your goals and become humanity's silent savior. There's no wrong way to save the world.

The experience of using the nano suit, in my opinion, is the best in the entire series. The jungle-infused ruins of New York have a tragic yet beautiful atmosphere, and the ambiance is incredibly strong. There's even a soundtrack that perfectly enhances the experience, I don't know what it's called, but it's definitely the best music I've heard in the trilogy. Although the main storyline of Crysis 3 is so short that it makes you wonder if you missed something, and the collectibles are ridiculously numerous. (only counting the collectibles needed for unlocking achievements, so there aren't many collectibles in Crysis 2) But the stunning urban jungle and satisfying combat experience still make for a great overall gameplay experience, worth playing.
extremely short has really good content but super short if it had few more hours it would be 9/10 bu its probably around 7/10
Souless. Prophet/Alcatraz is clearly insane. Joker is an over the top psycho. I played it on console when it was first released and didn't really enjoyed it back then and nothing has changed in that regard. Also this came out when every game that year had a bow in it. Just goes to show that it was trend chasing. Killed the franchise.
Incredible ride that proves this series still packs a serious punch. Can’t wait to see what the next game brings! Better delayed than rushed
Unfortunately, I found Crysis 3 to be a MASSIVE step down game design from Crysis 1 + 2, and I'm genuinely shocked at how disappointing this turned out. It makes more sense once you learn that this had only a fraction of the development time of Crysis 2, which is sad since there is so much potential here. Crysis 3 attempts to bridge the gap between the open-ended level design of Crysis 1 and the console-streamlined game mechanics of Crysis 2. On paper, this sounds like a winning formula - but in execution, it feels incredibly undercooked and lacks all the elements that made both games so great, and even regresses in many aspects. - The maps, while much larger now, have far fewer options than Crysis 2 in terms of verticality, cover, flanking options, ect., and a much smaller enemy count to boot. So instead of combat being this intense and exciting flow of rapidly flipping between nanosuit powers, deciding which enemies to take out - it ends up being a lot of dead air with the occa...
Crysis 3 is still a banger all these years later. Visually, I think this is leaps and bounds better than all the blurry, UE5 slop we get these days. Also unlike the UE5 slop, this runs amazing in 4k High on my 3080. The weapons all feel awesome, you are given lots of options to fight through encounters, and the environments are all super cool. Interestingly, my one criticism is not enough enemies. You have so many tools to fight with, but not enough things to use them all on. Missions feel pretty empty compared to Crysis 2 which makes the pacing feel off. It's something I forgot about or didn't really feel back when this came out. But bottom line, if you liked the previous Crysis titles, you'll love this one. It's more of Crysis 2 with elements from 1 such as the open areas.
Pros: excellent graphics, excellent optimization, costume modes, levels with vehicle control, cheater bow, green...green grass!, epic ending Cons: formulaic plot, many bugs with enemy AI, problem with maximum difficulty, sluggish game pace. Crysis 3 Remastered is the final third part of the trilogy and the Crysis Remastered Collection, which also includes the most titled part with a more or less sane plot and the most unoptimized first part - Crysis Remastered, and the completely mediocre in terms of plot but excellently optimized second part - Crysis 2 Remastered. The plot takes place 24 years after the events of the second part, and here the main character, freed from stasis with his rebel friends and the remnants of the aliens, also fights against the C.E.L.L. corporation, which has established its dictatorship and has a complete monopoly on all major energy resources. The game has become even more graphically advanced and better optimized, with huge multi-story sandbox levels and di...
