About This Game

Roller Coaster Rampage is a fast paced, high-scoring, competitive rollercoaster simulator with destructive environments!

Players compete to perform the best manual maneuvers, collect the most gems, link to the most track sections, and gain first place on the leaderboards!

Roller Coaster Rampage revolutionizes the coaster genre by introducing on-the-fly track construction and deformation. In previous games the coaster riding experience was a passive, non-interactive experience. Roller Coaster Rampage introduces an innovative approach, and a specialized procedural coaster engine that allows players to build coasters in real-time as they ride them. Players leave behind a trail of procedurally-generated coaster tracks and supports, which then become obstacles as the player circles back. While riding players can also dynamically connect to isolated track segments like loops, cobra rolls, bat wings, and barrel rolls. With these innovative game features and engine technology players can now build coasters while enjoying a fast paced, arcade style, roller coaster racing simulator.

If you're tired of those Tycoon games with the boring coasters; this game is for you! If you dislike games with very clunky controls that makes it impossible to play; you'll hate this game. The utter freedom in creating any coaster design you want is great; even if you create physically impossible coasters that would rip it's riders apart; and the fast action makes it addictive. But, still, those controls. They make absolutely no sense; they're hard to get to when you need them and you'll find yourself spending more time crashing your coaster becuase you weren't able to get turned quick enough. It's a fun game, it's a *really* fun game; but the controls aren't suited for the kind of fast paced action this game throws at you. They're clunky, they're cumbersome, and they're just in no way suited for this game. If you find it on sale; it's worth about 2 bucks; but I wouldn't give any more for this game. It's a game you'll play; you'll probably never actually advance.

This plays kind of like a magic carpet ride. Wasnt sure what I was expecting from a 3d roller coaster, but in this game you just kind of move around and it lays track as you go. You dont plan it out as in other tycoon type games. In this game you need to collect gems adn do stunts. The controller support is ok but the game is very picky if a jump says 50 mph, and your at 51 or 49 you crash. Crashing would be more fun if people were on the roller coaster screaming, but the game is mostly silent minus a muted background track. Meh, woulda been more fun to build a wild ride like Mr.Bones but there is no real building in this game just as you go. Kind of like stearing a plane but it lays roller coaster track. Rating: 2/10 Value: $1.99

This game is repetitive and isn't very good. The levels are always the same and there isn't much diversity between them resulting in a poor game that would only give you a few minutes of actual fun.

It does not run but crashes with a D3D error. Though this problem is well known (see the forums) for months, it is still not fixed.

If you want a good rollercoaster game, go for one of the rollercoaster tycoon games or thrillville off the rails, not this poor excuse of a game.

This is the best drunken child murder simulator on Steam. Hands-down.

This is my first ever roller coaster pc experience and while it shall be futile and inappropriate to compare it with roller coaster tycoon games, this game delivered more than what I was expecting especially based on reviews. The lagging side of the game is it doesn't offer more theme parks than What I wanted but the playground to ride as you like , freedom to just spread your coaster ride all along the sandbox theme park and pull as many stunts you want gives you that thrilling ride of joy , as with the real time roller coaster. Overall, an addictive game. I don't think I want to play any roller coaster beside this title.
