About This Game
You have found a camera with a footage in it. For some reason you can't rewind the video, and as soon as you try winding it forward you find yourself in the Backrooms. Figure out whats in the footage and try to ESCAPE AS FAST AS POSSIBLE!
There are multiple levels and it seems impossible to escape, but dont give up! You have to get out of here!
Linear space in Level 0 is altered drastically; it is possible to walk in a straight line, return to the starting point, and end up in a completely different set of rooms than the ones previously passed through. Due to this phenomenon, and the visual similarity between each room, consistent navigation of Level 0 has proven very difficult. Devices such as GPS locators and compasses fail to function within the level, and radio communications are audibly distorted and often prove unreliable.
"If you're not careful and noclip out of reality in the wrong areas, you'll end up in the Backrooms, where it's nothing but the stink of old moist carpet, the madness of mono-yellow, the endless background noise of fluorescent lights at maximum hum-buzz, and approximately six hundred million square miles of randomly segmented empty rooms to be trapped in.
God save you if you hear something wandering around nearby, because it sure as hell has heard you."

Its not the worst game ever, in the end though, even keeping in mind that this is a early access game, some of the features, some of the mechanics are just not good. Firstly, some of the good things about the game: The sounds of the creature is quite unique and much better than all the other games and the poolrooms looks pretty good . On the other hand, In the poolrooms you can almost be stuck because of an almost not find able bottle makes most people quit, there is only 1 monster in like 4 different levels, the transitions of the levels also are not the best and there is a huge lag issue in the parking lot level, which is also quite restricting and small compared to everything else, I feel as if the creator put a huge amount of effort in only level 0 and just winged the other levels just to get it on steam for like 5 bucks. If the game updates again adds more variety fixes some bs and improves in other ways, I might change the review
No anime girls but love it tho, pretty cool game
Load up the game, looks good, decent settings options. Like it so far. Hit start. Don't see anything but a white screen for several seconds. It seared my retinas but ok. Game starts, looks good, sounds good, runs ok on my 2060, a little slowdown here and there but this is great! Awesome rendition of the Backrooms. Sprint into a monster, monster gives chase, easily outrun monster with olympic-level sprinting ability. Set a new landspeed record while sprinting into another monster, now have two monsters chasing me with some seriously creepy sfx. I'm scared. I'm running the sound is incredible the visuals are great... What's that? A big red encyclopedia on the ground with a big 0 on it? This one says 6. What do those mean? Oh no it's one of those games. Oh no. Come to a pin pad. "Enter the books in descending order to open the door!" Help -> Steam Support -> Request Refund Load up a youtube video and see I'm not missing anything. The first steam store video shows you about 85% of ...
This game is not worth the price tag. It's exactly 3 levels of being chased around by the same entity with near zero difficulty, and a gathering level with nothing but tedium. I completed the entirety of the game in 29 minutes,
I LOVE IT MATE! Hope it will get more updates soon!!
This whole game feels like a really poor cash grab. This thing has no content at all. They are advertising a multiplayer mode in the making that, quite honestly, makes 0 sense to anyone that has actually played the game in its current state, since there is literally only four levels, and only one of them is not absolutely awful (and even then, it still feels sort of lazily made). Why would anyone in their right mind make a "game", release it in early access (which, mind you, it looks really early in development) and then immediately make a whole other steam page for the exact same game content-wise BUT with multiplayer co-op into it as its ONLY difference from the base game? It seems dumb to sell the same empty game as its own separate game with the addition of multiplayer instead of actually adding real content to the original game first, but maybe that's just me. Still, I do not see myself ever playing this again with anyone else until it gets some real updates, because god knows ...
Cautious recommend. The game looks great and I love the realism of the camera movements, the jumping and the noises the character makes. I think the game is definitely lacking content right now but that is to be expected with an early access release. As long as updates continue coming in I think it would be a great game to buy. List of suggestions: - The first level is the hardest just because of the map being bigger I think that the other levels should either have a different challenge than a scavenger hunt or have some other way of being more difficult. - The fourth level needs a new challenge or maybe some sort of timer because the challenge was more just annoying than anything and it didn't really make much sense that collecting almond water would open a door. Maybe if almond water was needed as some sort of thirst mechanic throughout the game? I don't see why it would have anything to do with progressing through the levels otherwise. - The entity's aren't really even a threat, I ...
Absolutely terrifying experience with great visuals too great job! https://youtu.be/INzhbLvX3tc
