Tux and Fanny

At the first sight, you could label Tux and Fanny with a lot of attributes. Minimalist, simple, cosy, wholesome etc. You would be right. And you wouldn't. It's a game that jiggles in some quantum state which you can never exactly capture. Sure, the story really is about two friends who want to play football, smell flowers, watch clouds go by and just go with the flow of life. But main characters will sow first seed of doubt as soon as they introduce themselves with cute smiles and mechanical, emotionless slavic voices which will be sending shivers down your spine for the rest of the adventure. Game is full of unsettling moments. From occasionally weird character's reactions, to ominous surreal incursions. But in spite of lynchian menace seemingly waiting around every other corner, game stays being the sunny afternoon buddy adventure till the end. Very cozy yet very weird game. Takes me back to the old adventure game days with much less obtuse puzzles and item interactions.
