They don't make it clear that a majority of the Call of Duty games REQUIRES online connectivity even though single player offline with bots is a thing on console. Im not paying for a waste of space on my ssd because my job requires that I be somewhere without internet for extended periods of time. I guess I'll download an xbox 360 emulator and PIRATE the game. That way I can play the game as it was intended before they decided to get greedy and make online connectivity mandatory for OFFLINE PLAYABLE ELEMENTS. As I will continue to do with advanced warfare and so on. I already have Black ops 2 pirated using RPS3 Emulator.

About This Game
Call of Duty®: Ghosts is an extraordinary step forward for one of the largest entertainment franchises of all-time. This new chapter in the Call of Duty® franchise features a new dynamic where players are on the side of a crippled nation fighting not for freedom, or liberty, but simply to survive.
Fueling this all new Call of Duty experience, the franchise's new next-gen engine delivers stunning levels of immersion and performance, all while maintaining the speed and fluidity of 60 frames-per-second across all platforms.
Single Player Campaign
- Ten years after a devastating mass event, America’s borders and the balance of global power have changed forever. As what's left of the nation's Special Operations forces, a mysterious group known only as "Ghosts" leads the fight back against a newly emerged, technologically-superior global power.
- A New Call of Duty Universe: For the first time in franchise history, players will take on the underdog role with Call of Duty: Ghosts; outnumbered and outgunned, players must fight to reclaim a fallen nation in an intensely personal narrative. Gamers will get to know an entirely new cast of characters and visit locales in a changed world unlike anything seen in Call of Duty® before.
Multiplayer
- In Call of Duty: Ghosts you don't just create a class, you create a soldier, a first for the franchise. In the new Create-A-Soldier system, players can change the physical appearance of their soldier by choosing the head, body type, head-gear and equipment, and for the first time in a Call of Duty® game, the player can also choose their gender. With 20,000 possible combinations, this is the most flexible and comprehensive character customization in Call of Duty history.
- New dynamic maps are the evolution of multiplayer. They include interactive elements and player triggered events that make the environment evolve as each match goes on. The entire landscape can shift and force players to change tactics and strategies.
- Call of Duty: Ghosts introduces new tactical player movements. The new contextual lean system now allows players to lean around obstacles without adding button combinations or fully leaving cover. The new mantling system allows fluid movement over objects, while maintaining momentum. The knee slide allows for a natural transition from sprinting crouching to prone.
- Call of Duty: Ghosts delivers over 20 NEW Kill Streaks such as Juggernaut Maniac, the Helo Scout, the Vulture and the ODIN Strike. Players can even bring in guard dog Riley, from the single-player campaign, to protect and also to attack enemies. There are also over 30 NEW weapons, including an entirely new weapon class: Marksman Rifles.
Squads
- Build your team and take up to 6 of them into battle in the all new Squads mode. This mode takes the best parts of the multiplayer experience and allows you to play either solo or cooperatively with the custom soldiers created and leveled up in multiplayer.
- The load-out choices you make for your Squad members will directly change the AI behavior of your squad-mates. Give your soldier a sniper rifle and he'll behave like a sniper, and an SMG guy will be more run and gun.

Call of Duty; Ghosts for me it's one of the best COD games out there. Very good gameplay, story and the graphics are excelent on PC. I love this game. 10/10
This game is EXTREMELY over hated. The story is 10/10 and deserves a sequel. Even if it's just a campaign I would still immediately buy it. Also the multiplayer gets too much of a bad wrap. Ghosts fans should start a petition for Activision to start developing a Ghosts 2
Worst COD entry to date... and that's saying something.
i couldnt get past the opening cutscene, until that it worked well but after the cutscene ended the screen went black and i got a fatal error messege pop up. i tried multiple times and honestly i have no idea if the problem is the fact that i tried playing it on a laptop on windows 11 or if the game has a problem running on these devices in general. big shame, i was pretty excited despite already knowing the story and all but oh well at least it refunded fast :) (if anyone thinks the problem is in my laptop please tell me cause i have no idea at all lol)
Not the greatest campaign ever...but it's alright. Riley and the fish AI are the highlights~
it dont work brah
Imagine if Modern Warfare had none of the exciting set pieces, world building and scale. That's what COD Ghosts is. A very bland entry in the call of duty series. I think the fact that COD is a pretty great series overall makes the worse entries hurt more, It just feels like there was meant to be way more to this game than there was. I don't feel like I got to know the ghosts or Rourke or even hung out with Riley the dog all that much. Even the main enemy faction lacks personality, they have no interesting villains. And don't say Rourke is an interesting villain he's not. He holds a grudge against the ghosts cause **SPOILER** Elias dropped him into a river to save his whole team. Rourke is said to be some kind of top ghost before he's turned, And we're also told that ghosts are baddest of the badass, So wouldn't Rourke have understood that coming home from an OP as dangerous as the ones the ghosts regularly undertook was a luxury? And some might say that rourke hates the ghosts cause...
I think this game was a bit under rated. It's got a good campaign but I never played multiplayer.
Booted up Call of Duty: Ghosts thinking it was just another CoD. It wasn’t. – Started with shooting terrorists, ended with commanding a super-soldier dog in space – One moment I’m sneaking through the jungle, next I’m scuba-diving while dodging explosions – Riley the dog outperformed half my squad and stole the spotlight – Story? Michael Bay movie + Fast & Furious logic + “what if dogs were Navy SEALs?” – My character speaks less than the dog and has less personality too – Multiplayer taught me new ways to die in 0.2 seconds – Final mission had me yelling at my screen like it owed me money – 10/10. Battlefield never let me high-five a German Shepherd after blowing up a satellite. Call of Duty: Ghosts isn’t a shooter. It’s the AirBud of military FPS games, but with more explosions.
