LUMbA: REDUX

A pretty difficult game that doesn't overstay it's welcome. Excellent music, simple yet fascinating visuals, and even comes with bonus content for when you beat the game. Worth a play for sure, dev even responds to feedback. Recommended.

Weird, mildly enjoyable top-down shooter considering it's a buck and change on sale. Cool atmosphere and music but the gameplay is underwhelming. Maxes at 1080p, needs external v-sync set. I like this quite a bit. It's a simple yet challenging bullet hell, with a neat story to go along with it. Though the game can be a bit laggy at points, especially in the warehouse level. I'd say get this game, it's well worth the price for a short, straightforward bullet hell game. I'd give it 6/8 popcorn bags.

Super underrated

Lumba is a classic tale of the absolute desperation of humanity. Locked deep within this treacherous bullet hell is a story of betrayal and misery. On the surface killing an entire office of your co-workers sounds like a blast. But the voices that persuade you to commit these joyous acts that bring you ultimate happiness don't have your best interests in mind. Proceed with caution as the moving tale of Lumba erodes away at your fragile humanity. Boss fights set you in perilous encounters of which that last boss took me over half it's runtime to beat, not because it's difficult but because my sense of self had been stripped away by the deep philosophical nature of the story. How could I bring myself to destroy the one part of myself that kept me going, the part that brought me so much joy in the previous hour of gameplay.
