Tiny but MIGHTY!
As you can see from my hours played, this game has been a blast for me. I always find myself playing a game or two and cannot wait for the next updates. Combat is super fluid and controls are crisp. Choosing a strong character with no heat will give you a relaxing game to wind down, or you can max out the difficulty and play more difficult characters to torture yourself :D So many items, traits, and insane combinations! I found countless ways to one-shot bosses or kill them without even moving sometimes. The game has a great loot/trait drop mechanic where you get higher chance to drop items related to your build and get traits that combo with what you already have. So many different characters, fun references, mini-games, on so on. If you liked Hades, Enter the Gungeon, or similar games, you will love this one! Don't get fooled by the "Early Access". This game has more content and depth than you can imagine.

Are the environments and enemies kind of derivative? Yes. Is the gameplay loop tightly crafted enough to motivate me to clear the game a hundred times over? Also yes.

No sign of life from the developer for four months. And even before that, development was extremely slow. It's a shame, because this game is actually really fun.

Easily in my top three rogue-likes/lites, up there with Hades and Risk of Rain 2, and honestly is probably my favorite of the three. Tons of weapons, perks, playable characters, etc... In terms of possible build variety, this is by far the best roguelike I know for it. The usual gameplay is smooth and fun, and I never find myself bored. I've had this game for a while and have gotten to see it change, and every change adds something new and interesting. Highly highly recommend.

This game has completely devoured all my free time, and it's probably one of the very few that has accomplished this feat. Where I thought I might squeeze out maybe 5 hours of entertainment, I'm now at 20 hours and nowhere near close to beating the game with all classes or unlocking everything available. The "Early Access" label seems misleading—this is very much a polished, complete game that can easily consume HUNDREDS of hours of your life. The sheer variety of characters, builds, and mechanics is staggering. While it takes some time to unlock everything, there are 34 characters in total. That's a lot! I never imagined I'd be choosing between a paladin, dancer, and cyborg class before starting a run. Fortunately, there's both a random selection option and the chaotic selection (literally a class that gains random attributes and spells from other classes). Equipping certain items, making shady deals in the black market, buying holy stones—all of this affects your affi...

Too sick to write a proper review, but the game is incredible, and a complete steal for the price. Buy it, you won't regret it. Tons of content, variety, and fun to be had.
