this game tries to be ultrakill in the worst way possible

Honestly, I was expecting a lot more from this game. As a huge fan of ULTRAKILL, this game looking really fun and interesting, capturing some of the styles from the game that I really liked. Now, before I go on, I KNOW that this game is NOT ULTRAKILL. But that's kind of my problem. This game feels like they tried to emulate ULTRAKILL but change it up, but in doing so accidentally took away some of the core mechanics that made ULTRAKILL fun. Before I delve into specific problems, let me say that the music for this game is pretty good, and the art style is really recognizable and is one that can look fantastic. Some of the enemy designs are REALLY cool, and overall I think it's important to realize that the devs of this game most likely worked really hard on it, and you can definitely see that passion shine through some of the game.
