I like the setting of the game and the grafic design and story line, but there are so many design issues that - for me - completely destroyed the fun. Just as an example - even if you split your team and hide them at different locations on the map to prepare for simultaneous attacks against targets in a following turn, all team members are instantly recognized by soldiers if just one of your guys is spotted.

Good core concept ruined by bad execution. The premise of a WW2 style X-Com game should have been very fun, but in X-Com you always have the option to use shock and awe over stealth and caution. In this game you're just penalized way too much for being bold, so you have to be incredibly patient and go with the cautious approach until you succeed or you have no choice but to get into a fire-fight. A lot of times the game fails to inform you about certain risks and rewards, and as a result I ended progressing without ever obtaining a machinegunner. Mind you, this wasn't intentional, the game just failed to provide me with the details when I had bonus missions to recruit more characters, as all I got were names and two different locations. This was extremely crippling. Combat is lack-luster with weapon stats being generally flat and mostly similar across the board. Rifles have 3 shots, and a bunch of other absurdity. It starts out fine, but later on you wind up massively outnumbered. Which is a problem because the game has a suppression mechanic that means even trash tier attacks that don't connect still stun lock you. Not helped by your troops apparently deciding to swap out their guns for airsoft ones. Mag dumping an MG42 into an enemy at point blank range and only chipping off a tenth of his health is irritating to say the least. Stealth is not a viable alternative. Most missions limit you to a handful of stealth kills before you're forced into open combat. In stealth mode knife attacks are instakills, except for when they're randomly not. The visualisation of tiles on which you'll be detected don't update until the end of the enemy's turn, but the actual detection does, which often makes it difficult to figure out why you got detected.

Great challenge and turn based mechanics

Fun and relaxing game, really liked the atmosphere. I feel like it's designed to be serious and punishing, but never unfair. Campaign lasts around 15-20 hours, depending on playstyle and how often you need/want to reload/restart a mission. Yes, the graphics are simple, animations a bit weird and there are a few bugs here and there, but nothing serious. I'd give it a 8 of 10. So pretty solid game :)

Very enjoyable X-com clone and I mean this as a compliment. X-Com 2 is my favorite game of all times (And I have been playing games since "Pong") and this is one of the few that comes close to it.

Great WWII turn based strategy game! If you like XCOM and Gears Tactics then this game won't disappoint.

I can't stand the voice acting and the performance is quiet poor for a top down type game
