I don't know why many of the reviews aren't mentioning this but the reason why I really don't like the game is the AI, it's buggy as hell, it's gamebreakingly buggy. The term ''the AI doesn't feel real'' doesn't really make sense usually but in this game the AI doesn't even feel like AI, it's awful, the just aimbot shoot you, there's no sneaking around them, they shoot you through walls and shit and they always see you, it's awful, all my friends stopped playing because of it and the fact that it hasn't been adressed is mind boggling.

About This Game
Sunkenland is an exciting post-apocalyptic survival and exploration game set in the near future when water covered most of the Earth. Explore sunken cities, scavenge resources and valuable technologies, build your base, trade, fight and survive.
Features
Diving
Explore the sunken skyscrapers, nuclear powerplants and subway tunnel. Gather resources, seek out lost technologies, and collect rare pre-apocalypse items. Build diving devices to assist your underwater journey. And be wary of the unknown danger awaiting you in the depths of this planet.
Base Building
Build your base anywhere you want. Will it be a water stronghold, an abandoned ship base or an island penthouse? You need it to keep yourself refreshed, craft items, farm, store items, and stay protected. With the modular building system, you can create your ideal enclave and stylize it with decorations found throughout your journey.
Base Defense
Defend your base against clans of pirates and mutants. Build high walls, barbed wire, traps, surveillance system, and artillery to keep the enemies out of your territory!
Crafting
Build everything you need, tools, weapons, a jetski, and even a helicopter. You will need different workstations and blueprints in order to craft complex items.
Survival
Gather food, hunt sharks, grow plants, and manage supplies. Make your base sustainable as resources are scarce in Sunkenland.
Vehicles
Build and upgrade many types of vehicles including sailboat, jetski and gyrocopters. They will make your exploration much more convenient.
Fighting
Fight mutants and pirates. Raid enemy atolls and steal their resources. Use melee weapons, firearms and explosives. Fight on ocean and land. Operate mounted heavy weapons to destroy enemy boats.
Trading
Trade with friendly atolls for supplies, weapons, armor and rare items. There is no universal currency, only item for item.
Co-op
Cooperate with friends and survive this oceanic apocalypse as a group. Build bases, dive, explore and fight pirates together!

User Reviews
Sunkenland feels like a game that sank halfway through development. The concept is cool—waterworld survival with rafts, diving, and scavenging—but the execution is clunky. Controls are rough, combat is awkward, and the world feels more empty than immersive. It’s not the worst survival game I’ve played, but it’s definitely not the one I’ll be coming back to. Thumbs down—not terrible, just forgettable.
There's a lot I can say about this game. I really wrote up this great big ol' encyclopedia, a full mass of words that'd make the average diehard instagramer go cross-eyed and suffer a full cranial meltdown. Even I thought it a bit much. So this is the shortest version I can manage. There's not a lot of games that have crafting, survival, and an aquatic theme, let alone coop, and first person. First-person coop craft-and-survival is probably one of my favouritest genres of all time. Easily top five. And yet all I can say is if you get this game, don't set your expectations very high. These have become easier games to build nowadays, there's a bunch of prebuilt libraries in Unreal and Unity to do a bunch of the heavy code lifting for you. And it kind of shows here, as there's some real indifference on display here. Things like "fdsfdsfdsfdsfds" showing for a full second on loot drops. That's not the least of it. This is hardly a complete list: Paddle boats doing 48 km/hr and...
Don't buy this game, even after 2 years of development, theres barely any content, no diversity in enemies or weapons, plentiful of bugs(And honestly, this review could be 2x as long if I had to mention all the bugs), graphics looks like horseshit, your base can get raided which is a god awful feature when you're on the other side of the map and your base get fucked up(Thankfully you can disable that), The hitboxes are fucked up, you shoot an enemy and instead due to insane hitboxes the bullet hits the trash can next to the enemy you want to pop, enemies have aimbot, while you struggle to get a hit in they hit you from 300 meters away with ease, only reason I got 80 hours in is cause suffering the bugs together with my wife is somewhat enjoyable, and as a massive hoarder, picking islands clean and dumping all my shit in my base is quite fun, but I cannot recommend this ass to another player in good conscience
The game still needs a ton of work, its very clunky and the AI suck. Progression is kind of confusing.
Let me start by saying that I truly want this game to be successful. I've cleared the map on the hardest difficulty without dying, and had a great time doing it; however there is one critical game-breaking issue which makes the game ultimately unplayable. Many of you already know, but many of you might not realize... Item Duplication exists in Sunkenland. Both in single player and multiplayer, without any third party programs, item duping is essentially built in to the game as a feature. It only takes a few clicks in the right sequence, can be done by anyone, and once you know about it.. it's basically impossible to come back from. Duping has been in the game for over 2 years now... It was originally suspected to be a glitch or bug, yet even after seeing patch notes like "fixed item duplication bug" several times, I can confirm that duping is very much still possible for anyone to do once they know the trick. At this point, I'm left only to assume that the developers are leaving d...
I just built a big fortres and spend a lot of time and resourses on it. after a firts rade in my new fortres i realize enemy can glitch through the walls and my invested time is complemetely wasted. I really like this game but this pissed me so much that i stopped playing. This game has a lot of bugs and glitches which is fine for small game. But in base building game where enemy glitching in your base is this unacceptable
