Very cozy game with a perfectly sized world. I grew up playing collectathon platformers like Banjo-Kazooie and Spyro, and this feels like a very chill, modern take on those. I especially like that your abilities level up—it adds a nice sense of progression and keeps things fresh. Something about the controls, simple as they are, feels really satisfying. I was able to seamlessly switch between keyboard/mouse and controller without any issues. It plays especially well on a controller! If you're looking for a bite-sized game with laid-back vibes—something to chill out to... this is it.

Not a bad game. I knew going in that this was likely from a new/small dev team and I didn't have unrealistic expectations. I was actually a bit surprised by a few things. You actually learn new abilities and upgrade them. This is something that is sadly missing from many other 3D platformers. The world is actually quite large with a surprising amount of depth and different regions. You need to explore some areas carefully to find some hidden collectibles. Otherwise, don't expect a lot of variety with the puzzles and expect a little bit of jank with the platforming. For example, you can use some walls to reset your glide meter. Not bad for a quick play though if you like the genre.
Very enjoyable cozy game to play after a day of work. Big fan of the exploration and abilities in the cute world of Monch :)
The land has been infected by strange purple 'stuff'. Oh noes! Fortunately, you have just hatched: a Monchling, a formless blog who monches the stuff and thus gains abilities which allow you to move around the land and monch even more stuff, saving people as you go. A cute platformer-style puzzle game, where your character's solution is to eat the purple stuff, you travel around and try to find out what has happened when the land has been infected before, assisting the elders in the four regions. Search for and collect the purple crystals, and meet various critters as you go. My favourite NPC so far is the one who has made up a song about rolling in the sand to the tune of 'Row, Row, Row Your Boat'. Or possibly the one who tries to nickname you 'Monchurian Candidate'. I prefer 'Monch Ado About Nothing', thank you very much.
