Initially, just another victim of my compulsive buying, this seemingly not-so-promising game is better than I expected, and I had a blast playing it. Unfortunately, maybe the first hour or so, the level design does not show this game in the best light, ordinary at best, but it does improve over time, I would even say the game gets 2-3 times better across the board. Maybe the dev just didn't want to make it too complicated right away, but even in terms of visuals, I think game gradually gets better. It does not have that PS1 aesthetic, but it is going for that collection-oriented content, there are generally 2 hidden items in each level, and you can unlock new areas, skins, and a few power-ups when collecting them, very similar to PS1 platformers from the 90s. Just for reference, in case the dev reads this review, the last 2 stages are the most enjoyable (Coaster Park and the Low Gravity zone), I especially liked the park, if only you would use the rides for more platforming though, I t...

A serviceable 3D platformer let down by a bad lack of polish. Hitboxes are weird and inconsistent, the settings menu is nothing but a choice of four resolutions, both camera movement and movement in general are very sluggish, and some mechanics seem to be outright broken. For example, there are little heart collectibles scattered around every level, and an unlockable that lets you carry a heart in reserve... but everything kills you in one hit. Most of the levels have enough checkpoints that this isn't an issue, but the final boss turns into a gruelling test of patience when every bit of damage sends you right back to the start. It looks like the game has been abandoned, which is unfortunate. It's not groundbreaking but it is enjoyable, and with some tweaks and polish it could have easily been a recommendation.

This is a really fun, cute 3D platformer. The humor is there and the character design is great! I think anyone giving this game a "Do Not Recommend" considering the price-tag of 2.99 is being pretty dang harsh. The game is fun to play and its a nice little game for fans of the genre. Definitely worth the price of admission if its your favorite type of game. I do think it could do with an option to turn off music (I couldn't find one at least), considering the repetitive nature of the songs. The loops are very short. I do also wish the character was a bit quicker. The sprint button is nice, but there are almost no times when you wouldn't want to be pressing it.

Keyboard controls if you're a speed runner like me, are: WASD - typical, Shift - sprint, Left Ctrl - Slam, Arrows for camera (Don't use these too often I think it makes it crash), Start/save button I cant find it i don't need it i'm an adult I go hard. NOW on to the GAME. The GAME is good. For the price its very good. Plot The game immediately throws you into the life of Pastel, a much loved pink RAT. Pastel is an easy going protagonist who has escaped the rat game, or so we thought. Join Pastel on a quest to save his fellow rat boys from BIG RAT who be tearing up the rat game and asking questions about what is a rat and what is a mouse? The game asks brave questions on the subject of what is a metaphor of "white-washing" are we defined as RATS and MICE or are we part of the people we care about enough to save and nothing more? Help Pastel in one last ride or die to get the homies back and chilled on the xany. Gameplay Very fluid and enjoyable, easy enough to master on keyboard alth...

Neat concept accompanied by some nice on the eyes visuals and some pretty chill OST, but... it just feels meh to play imo. - You have to wait for text to scroll automatically and you can't skim through it. - Lack of graphic options (there's some there, but there's no option for windowed and could do with more resolutions, because my 19 inch 1440x900 monitor had to play this "out of range"). - Not a fan of the hit detection. - Hate the fact you lose keys you're holding when you jump (no offense, but you really thought that was a good idea?). Shame, cause the game did look pretty fun in the trailer.
