About the Game

Build a Battle Wagon worthy of dominating death-defying enemies! Completely customize your rig from the ground up with a huge range of components such as flamethrowers, sniper turrets, gatling guns, lookout towers, medical stations, wheels, engines, armor and so much more.

As you complete missions, your crew will become more experienced. Use this experience to transform them into a group of elite road warriors with abilities that complement your battle wagon and playstyle. Kit out each of your warriors with armor sets and weapons to increase their chances of surviving to fight another day.

Combat will require you to multitask under pressure! While out on a mission, you must strategize and manage your crew members efficiently to man guns, repair your rig, heal injured crew mates and more. All whilst you drive and navigate environmental hazards and gigantic sandworms.

The Gun Nutz, Pyros, Vultures and Klowns are the savage militia groups that roam the Badlands, each led by a crazed Warlord boss. As you progress, you’ll need to plan, adapt and change your tactics as each enemy faction possesses unique weaponry and combat strategies.

Approach the campaign how you want! Your decisions influence control as faction influence shifts throughout the campaign. Smart decision-making in the heat of battle and planning routes is imperative to ensure you achieve victory while fighting to seize enemy strongholds and outposts.

I really wanted to like Badlands Crew, but the game fought me at every step of the way. As a result, I can't in good conscience recommend. Firstly, the game is a technical mess. Performance during missions is inexcusably bad, and grows progressively worse as you progress through the game. I started noticing the drops when it would dip below 45FPS. At time of writing, it's struggling to maintain 20FPS, with significant input lag. For a game that looks this basic (simple models, pixellised textures), there's absolutely no excuse for performance this bad. Then there are the bugs. On multiple occasions, I've had mission objectives fail to trigger, forcing a mission restart. Some missions can run pretty long, so restarting them really hurts. Beyond that, gameplay is... not great. The game is very heavy on the micromanagement, especially relative to Space Crew and Bomber Crew. The WASTE system is the primary culprit for this, slowing down time and allowing the player to target individual c...

Incredible game. I thought Bomber Crew was gonna be my jam, but it didn't really click for me. Badlands Crew hits different. Building your battle wagon and working towards upgrades feels great. Real-time combat with cinematic slow-mo feels great. The campaign and world map feels great. Making it back to base with your whole crew feels great. There is A LOT of game here for an awesome price. I love it.

Love the customization you can do with the truck. Just wish it would let us do other car types too, the game is a bit laggy around the mid point of the game. But aside from that, everything has the right amount of fun

Game realies too much on micromanagement, especially relative to its predecessors. It is a good game, but not as good as it used to be. 6/10. Get it on sale.

Very nice game with a good exploration part if you want to unlock everything. The management system is very cozy, providing a lot of possibilities and customization, which makes the journey in wasteland less hard than you can think. The devs listen the players and the last patches enhanced a lot the quality of life and reduced some frustatring IA things by giving more gameplay options to the player. To sum up, a very good polished cozy game.

This game represents the pinnacle of the type of crew management games that Runner Duck has made their niche. Open world, a massive map compared to the last two, more control over how you tackle missions, more mission variety, and a more direct way to control how both your crew and their vehicle look aesthetically. Even as someone who usually doesn't enjoy building my own vehicles in games like this, I still found the vehicle construction system to be intuitive enough to be enjoyable, but not so complex that it'd turn me away. It'd be hard to improve upon the formula that these games follow any more than this, and if you've played previous Runner Duck games or are interested in a crew management game with a Mad Max twist, this is the game for you.

This is an amazing game concept, one of the most fun concepts to come out in a long while. Building and battling your rig, Fury Road style, is extremely fun and I can spend hours on the building alone. I can't believe this is an indie game and its so cheap, you would have thought someone would have done this already but all I can say is I want more. Please let me throw money at content DLC's, more areas and more building pieces. I would love a second game eventually too. I literally want Badlands Crew in my life forever it's that good of a concept. You may have to adjust the controls, which can be hard to get used to but the payoff once this game actually clicks for you is huge. Fully recommend.

premise is very interesting and it's fun for the first 2-3 hours, but game is very repetitive. progression is very slow and the game is very easy even on hard difficulties and on first playthrough. it's just not balanced enough, game is very easy to cheese with some characters (boyscout's support calls). its qol features are also missing (sorting stuff in the item menus), there are just so many items with very similar stats. everything seems trivial and it's full of fluff, I don't have a problem with a goofy game but adding 10+ types of funny helmets with no difference in stats just kills the feeling of progression. many of the missions are also just fluff and have no importance but you are overwhelmed by them in the mission selection.
