About This Game

The Walking Dead is a five-part game series set in the same universe as Robert Kirkman’s award-winning comic book series. Play as Lee Everett, a convicted criminal, who has been given a second chance at life in a world devastated by the undead. With corpses returning to life and survivors stopping at nothing to maintain their own safety, protecting an orphaned girl named Clementine may offer him redemption in a world gone to hell.

  • Based on Robert Kirkman’s Eisner-Award winning comic book series, The Walking Dead allows gamers to experience the true horror of the zombie apocalypse.
  • A tailored game experience: live with the profound and lasting consequences of the decisions that you make in each episode. Your actions and choices will affect how your story plays out across the entire series.
  • You’ll be forced to make decisions that are not only difficult, but that will require you to make an almost immediate choice. There’s no time to ponder when the undead are pounding the door down!

I am reviewing this game in 2025 , meaning that this game is now 13 years old. Even though it's a bit old it still keeps up and has active players. i really enjoyed playing this game the character developments were also very well done! but i still can't forget the ending of the game, it got me crying like a baby Lolz... 10/10 would replay again

In a world of the undead, you go on an emotional ride through morality, trust, guilt and death. It's unfair, wrong, and unexpected, just like life. I absolutely enjoyed every minute of the story.

I bought this game on a whim, without knowing what it was or even watching a single video about it. One evening, my brother and I decided to give it a try, and we were instantly hooked. The story was thrilling, filled with unexpected twists and difficult decisions. At times, we felt completely immersed in the characters, sharing their anger, confusion, hope, and sadness. By the very end, it was impossible not to cry.

Cons: - A lot of decisions feel too forced, coming out of nowhere and not making much sense, taking away the immersion every once in a while - Unnecessary extra gore in some scenes involving repeated user input - After looking online, it turns out all decisions have no impact on the story, just in the character interactions Pros: - Cool visual style, aging well - Interesting characters Mostly positive, but Life is strange 1 for example did a better job in this genre of game

Bought this game because Jacksepticeye cried to this game and was curious on how the story plays out. Now I know why he cried to these games. They're really good with the story. After playing the entire game I realised he never did post videos about season 1 but only 400 days dlc and the rest of the franchise. While I was playing, half of the time I forgot that this is a zombie apocalypse game. If you want to control how a story goes, this game is for you. Good game.

good choices based game , 2012 game cant judge much on visuals . i hated when carla got shot by lily . when it said every choice matter it really does choices on from one episode can change story later . leaving spoilers wont be good saving one guy at ep4 led to him and one other guy die . conversation choices are good everything option do make impact . i will give it 8/10 . the story is GOOD NOT TOO GOOD . recommended hell yeah tbh this game was 2$ only on sale , i cant complain . you cant 100% the game becuz 8-9 achievements are locked by a dlc not bad its 1$ lowest as per steam db . . s2 good or not i dont know the reviews werent very greeat might play not now .

Overall 8/10 The game holds a special place in my heart, it's pure nostalgia. Playing it now brings back the perfect era of the 2010s, and it holds that unique vibe to this day. The story if emotional and memorable. Even as an older game, it continues to captivate the gaming community. You don't have to be a hardcore horror game fan to enjoy it, highly recommended.
