Customers are very cute. I felt sorry for them for the drawings i made on their bodies. At least i expected the rapper guy to fire a few shots at me. I played for a short time. But I had a lot of fun. I will continue where I left off at my first free time. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a game to play in VR.

About This Game
In a universe full of extraordinary characters and mysteries to discover, play as an apprentice tattoo artist disguised as the legendary Master. What can possibly go wrong?
Well… Not to mention that you will be surrounded by some exceptional and self-absorbed clients like vampires, internet celebrities, and possessed Viking warriors that each need a unique tattoo only a Master can handle!
During your sessions, you are armed with nothing but a mysterious mask, your tools, and your inspiration. Use and unlock different equipment like tattoo machines, needles, and various colors to experience being a tattoo artist in this wacky Tattooverse.
Unleash your imagination, give your clients the "ink" they want, and prepare yourself for a one-of-a-kind adventure in Tattooverse!

Master of the Tattooverse's gameplay is structured around interacting with various clients with diverse backgrounds and giving them the tattoos they desire. Each session is a different stage and during each session, the player holds a tattoo machine ( a Tatgun in Tattooverse terms ) in one hand, and another instrument named BucketBoi9000 ( BB in short ) that contains miscellaneous materials like needles and colors. Players can use 3 different Tatguns with different stats and properties to suit their needs. Both the Tatguns and BB Tool are specially designed to optimize for VR ergonomics to suit our player’s comfort and give them the most relaxed gaming experience.
As for the clients, there are two kinds of them: The ones the player works on location, and the ones that come to their Tattoo Parlor to get their ink done. Each client has a distinct personality and traits like being overly talkative, friendly or annoying. As they are responsive to the interactions of the player, players must act according to each client’s needs and tastes while taking their pain tolerance into consideration.
Every stage contains corresponding setups and level designs to help or guide the players, and in some stages-thus customers- provide special kinds of Tatguns to the player to help their adventure.
In terms of ergonomics and accessibility, Tattooverse can be played standing, sitting and even lying down and/or with both hands or just one. Every inch in the X, Y, Z axes can be reached with easy locomotion options, including dragging yourself around by using grip-drag-release, guided teleportation with the right thumb stick, or normal movement.

- Teleportation: Changing the POV instantly without nauseating motion
- Dragging movement in 3D space with the grip button
- Traditional analog movement for walking

- Tattoo Guns
- Erasing Needle
- Camera tool for taking in-game photographs
- Overlay tool for template tattoo stencil
- Relief needle&spray for helping customers with pain

- Shade needle

Its Time For Some VR Ink Master of the Tattooverse is an amazing VR SIM where you are a tattoo artist apprentice. As someone who use to do tattoos, I was very excited to dive into this one. and was left very pleased. Like most sim games, I love being hands on. You did not get to play with anything in the environment, but the tattoo controls and options are great. I would of loved a more interactive tattoo shop, that you could even customize, but what I was given feed my VR tattoo artist bug. The training dummie is great and a lot of fun to play with. Just pimping him out alone could be a game. I would of liked a free hand though, to move the dummie and customers around. Both of your hands are holding tools. One hand has the tattoo machine of course, the other hand holds a tool called the BB. This lets you select your needle grouping, colors and even slap a stencil on the customer. I would of liked to been able to put one down to adjust the customer. The customers (only played the...
Played it through my friend's VR Set. Probably gonna purchase a VR set after this game. Colors and concept are awesome! BTW I am not a tattoo fan, but the game really pulled me in. Good work from creators, definetly gonna try other games of ROG Studios!
I don't know where to start... Isn't this a stand alone for Meta Quest? Incredulous I had to check several times that I bought it from Steam. The graphics have a style that I cannot understand, exaggerated shapes, very "cartoony," but in some serious ways, it does NOT make sense. The room you find yourself in is plastered with weapons that you can NOT touch! Drawing for the first ten minutes can be satisfying, but the lack of being able to rotate your arms, legs and head makes the game anything but immersive. Tattoos will always come out shitty, because the character models are angular, and you don't understand nothing. in the end, the menus and everything about the HUD is handled terribly, messages too close, others too far away, and in the settings there is nothing, just SFX volumes and dialogues, because yes, there is an old man talking constantly that is annoying. Draw some winer on paper, surely it costs less. Thank me later. Stupid me for not downloading the demo first.
I'm probably the worst at drawing, even I had a lot of fun playing it. Tatooing someone in VR is just an amazing idea
This is the only game in VR that makes my controllers "Jump" or "Bounce". Hard to do tattoos when my hand and gun fly up and down. Not sure if its terrible collision physics with the needle or what. All other VR Games i play dont have this issue. Hard to enjoy or want to play when this happens.
I had only 1 session with the game but man it was beautiful. I am not an artist myself but this game makes me wanna be one. The time just flew by and I didn't even notice. The characters are very well developed and actually fun. I am hoping for Master of the Tattooverse 2 because I know this won't be enough content for me.
worst game i have played in vr. when I have it on comfort, the old man moves by himself and when you have to tattoo on the old man, she moves 24/7 so you tattoo outside
Movement and turn doesnt works. How did you manage to break given oculus default locomotion ? Position of the tattoo should be relative to XRrig, not just to your play tested settings.
