About This Game

Stereo Boy is a sci-fi adventure featuring mind-bending puzzles, a unique teleportation mechanic, and striking isometric environments. Help Blit to unravel the mystery of Planet SO-671 and find a way home.
Jump between parallel worlds
Blit, plucky robot astronaut, is stranded on Planet SO-671, a mysterious world that was split in half by an ancient catastrophe. Blit can harness quantum energy to teleport between parallel worlds, making it easy to navigate SO-671’s daunting terrain. It’s also a pretty neat trick at parties.
Solve puzzles across dimensions
Stereo Boy is chock-full of interlocking puzzle mechanics, requiring you to use Blit’s teleportation ability in increasingly creative and intricate ways.
It helps to have a ray gun
No mysterious alien planet is complete without some hostile baddies eager to ruin your day. Confront them head-on, or dodge them with some crafty cross-dimensional footwork.
Explore a lush, mysterious world
Each of Stereo Boy’s 50+ levels is a unique puzzle box, forming an experience that’s equal parts challenging, meditative, and charming. Collect shards to unlock bonus levels and discover the tragic (and sometimes hilarious) story behind SO-671’s lost civilization.

I really enjoyed this relaxing puzzle game. The sounds, music, and visual style complimented the fun and challenging levels. The mechanics of playing in two "spaces" at once made for interesting and unique gameplay. The puzzle difficulty felt very well tuned. Every time I was about to give up, I found a satisfying solution. The text log story was fun and kept me coming back to find out what happened. Highly recommend!!!
Stereo Boy is a really cute puzzle game with a clever main mechanic. You control two characters at the same time and jump between them to solve puzzles and navigate the world. This straightforward premise becomes more complicated when you are faced with the more challenging puzzles, enemies, and maps in the advanced levels. The game thoughtful adds new components and abilities while it challenges you to improve your ability to think in two 3d worlds at the same time. In addition to the puzzles themselves, the art, music, and story add a lot to making this a fun thinking game where you create your plan, move around the map, and make it to the next level. I would recommend giving it a try! You'll be hooked in no time
We really enjoyed playing this game! The levels are really engaging and interesting, and the story is really fun too! Keep an eye out for the secret level "dodgeball" ... 5/5
Still working my way through, but it's enjoyable so far, and it runs GREAT on the steam deck.
fun puzzles and some good story flavor in the logs you find!
Stereo Boy is a great little puzzle game. I would categorize it closer to a game like Monument Valley than something like Baba Is You. It's fairly casual and in a lot of ways quite maze-like, but in a way that truly elevates the humble maze and I found the spacial reasoning and demands of just noticing what's in each level pair to be super rewarding. Plus there were definitely a few gems of puzzles that reminded me of the best puzzles from other more pure deduction puzzle games. My only real criticisms are the combat stuff (which is mitigated by being able to gain infinite lives), and many of the levels that didn't fit entirely within the camera (with the exception of many of the more linear ending levels).
super fun. the puzzles are really great (in difficulty and style), and the concept is neat. I like the story too
Super fun! Very unique mechanics, love that the gameplay straddles between two worlds. Great design and clever puzzles
A really fun puzzler that you can just vibe and chill out to!
