About the Game

Ravenswatch is a top-down roguelike action game in which you play as heroes of tales and legends that must slay hordes of nightmarish creatures in nerve-racking fights. After the success of Curse of the Dead Gods©, Passtech Games returns with an improved formula and an addictive game experience with endless replay value. It can be played solo or with up to four players in co-op.

Play as 9 heroes, each with a unique twist and individual gameplay, including Little Red Riding Hood, who suffers from lycanthropy; Sun Wukong, the fallen monkey king; the Snow Queen with her evil powers; and many other familiar characters who have a darker side and are more violent than you might remember.

The Nightmare has invaded the world of dreams and is corrupting everything in its wake. Faced with this evil, the Ravenswatch is gathering heroes from tales and legends from all over the world to lead a crucial battle and restore the fragile balance. But the heroes themselves have been corrupted. How deep do the roots of this evil go?
  • Explore 3 open maps filled with activities and inspired by enchanted forests and marshes, One Thousand and One Nights, and Arthurian legends respectively.
  • Help the inhabitants of Reverie, such as the Three Little Pigs, Sinbad the Sailor and Morgan the fairy, and earn valuable rewards to help you in your future battles.
  • Reveal the story of each character and Reverie, run after run.
  • Ravenswatch is a meticulously crafted combination of a dark fantasy atmosphere with a comic book style.

To defeat the Nightmare and reach the final chapter, you will need a strong build, focus and/or excellent teamwork. You have 3 days and 3 nights to increase your power. Face the chapter boss when you feel ready… or when you no longer have a choice.
  • In the purest tradition of the roguelike genre, Ravenswatch is a challenging game but fair, balanced and refined thanks to community feedback.
  • Epic boss battles and over 50 formidable, uniquely designed enemies.
  • With each level completed, you earn the right to choose a new talent and improve your heroes' skills. Combine talents, items and dreams to craft the most powerful builds.
  • Even more fun with friends or using the matchmaking feature: explore the synergies and relationships between heroes with up to four players in co-op.

During your game, optimize your time and make the best use of the upgrades you earn. With each new run, explore a new map filled with activities and enemies. Unlock new heroes and new content from one run to the next.
  • Over 200 talents, 50 magical items and endless build combinations.
  • Randomly generated maps with a wide range of activities.
  • 4 difficulty levels and customized game modes for an even greater challenge or to enjoy Ravenswatch at your own pace.
  • Regular updates will add new free content.

This could be a very nice game but it's not, please devs can we get : - more map options - more sidequests - more bosses - can the dash be an actual like in every other game with I-frames ? ( that's very personnal, don't take it seriously ) Making a lot of characters is nice and all, but runing the same map and doing the same quests and bosses for 1 hours is kinda lame after 10 hours

the time element where you are forced to fight the boss after 10 minutes kills the exploration for me and when i play with friends i feel like i have to lean forward the entire time because every second counts and its just too difficult with that limitation on. that being said, you can turn it off...but the game isn't designed for you to fully explore the map so you become a god before you finish the second level which isn't fun either

I develop games for a living so I understand the importance of leaving a review - and yet, I never do? So let this be my first and it's a simple one: I've played this game for 169 hours. Nobody should ever play a 20 dollar game for 169 hours and feel entitled to leave a negative review. Banger of a game with an attention to detail that seems to be overlooked in many reviews. Have you noticed they had Melusine sing her journal entries?

I want to love this game. I do. However, the multiplayer lobby is so bad that I'm not sure it's just because everyone has a bad connection, or there is some weird issue with the game itself. You'll barely find anyone to play with unless its with your friends. If you do public search, 9 out of 10 times you're gonna be stuck there for 10+ minutes waiting for a slot to be filled just to have people randomly drop out only to rejoin later. I've had sessions where it just randomly boots you from a barely filled group, and when you search again, you join the same group once more. Not just that, but the main menu isn't great. I fumbled a lot trying to navigate it. I love the premise of this game. I love that dark fairytale story stuff. This just really, really needs more polish.

Played this on and off for over 30 hours (so not much) but will say I find it very fun. I play it co-op with a friend and it's a blast every time. Love the asymmetrical and unique character options with having unique paths within each character design and wildly different play styles. The gameplay itself is a lot of fun as I'm not a fan of "spammy" ARPG's and this is for sure more of a skill based ARPG. Timing, dodging, skillshots, all very important. I wish there were more levels/time per playthrough, but at the same time - the difficulty is up there so you are likely to get a lot of replayability out of it. Is it a game for you? Bit hard to say as it's such a specific gameplay loop, but check out a youtube video or two and you should quickly get a feel for what it is and if it could be a fit for you. More fun when playing together with someone (in my opinion).

I wish the roguelike elements were a bit more polished to give characters more viable routes. Still, a ton of fun, I love the banter between characters and the interpretations of fairy-tale heroes.

Not enough fun combos. It is pretty good and has a good variety of characters, but the unknown unlocks which you can't tell if you want to chase or not is not great, and it feels like the characters have very linear and strict combos, compared to other similar roguelikes.

Another good game I am bad at. Some nice variation in the characters some harder to play than others but satisfying when things come together. netcode seems good low latency on co op. Fun.

Similar to DOTA with some beautiful Graphics. Every single game is a series of Random items and level-ups which makes the game very addictive. online Multi-player works without any problem.
