Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate

[h3]Look how the massacred my boy![/h3] After much consideration, I decided to give the "Ultimate" version a try, and oh man, I don't know why exactly this game had to be remade by making almost everything inferior. I absolutely adore the original version, and I have quite literally 100% it (down to maximizing every single playable character and getting all Steam achievements). Got to crush my enemies as Truck-Kun 10/10

Very fun and energetic beat-em up. Played this with my friend and we had quite a bit of fun because of the over the top enemies. Controls are great and very smooth. Best part is it runs incredibly well on my Steam Deck, installed it and it ran like a dream.

I remember it was a struggle to find ONE person to play with online for the online achievements in the og game... AND NOW THEY WANT US TO FIND 6!!!! WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE??!? I'm never getting all the achievements in this game :pensive: I like the game.

Disclaimer: I am BRAND NEW to this series. Apologies if there's anything I missed out on. If the beat-em-up story mode was all there was to this game, I'd say it's pretty lackluster. However, the RPG-esque progression elements, the fact that nearly any enemy is also a playable character, and the well-fleshed-out PVP elevate this game far above others in the genre. Its one of the few Beat-em-ups that doesn't need brand recognition or pedigree to draw me in, and that's special. In short, some of the most fun I've ever had on a stream. Thank you Rocket Panda.
