From its atmospheric setting to its masterful gameplay, this game pushes the boundaries of the genre and offers a journey like no other. One of the standout features of this game is its exceptional music. From the very first notes, you are transported into a futuristic landscape where pulsating beats and slashing stupid robots with your sword. The combat system strikes a perfect balance between tactical decision-making and crazy and hard action, forcing you to learn from your mistakes (read as you are slices trillion times by enemies) and adapt your approach to overcome those lunatics with swords. The satisfaction of finally killing an enemy and hitting him like a ball all over the map is soooo satisfying. The music acts as a character in itself, guiding your emotions and heightening the intensity of every encounter. I am definitely purchasing music as well it's good for programming :D

For those who do not usually play souls-like games like me. I watched the developer live-stream the game and played the demo. I have not finished the game yet, it is very hard, but the challenge is interesting for me. Like I mentioned I usually do not like those kind of games, but the checkpoints are close and you are encouraged to find the right way. Some funny situations come about from all the dying :D Maybe I am starting to like souls-like games, I don't know. I wold say check it out, it is forgiving in the dying compartment, but challenging as well. The bosses are brutal (for me at least). I am having fun. P.S. The soundtrack is amazing. From the live stream, the developer mentioned he made it himself.
The game is fun. Each area is a unique challenge with many different gimmicks thrown in. The game alternates between combat and traps that require quick thinking and dodging. I died a lot when i agrro more than 2 enemies and it almost made me lose my patience in some areas when trying to pull them one by one and then get killed by the last one. There are a lot of difficult spots, but it gives a great sense of accomplishment after reaching the next checkpoint. Bosses are a plus, with different phases that are either combat or a puzzle. I liked the ingame music too. Recommended for players that miss the old times when games were a challenge to be conquered.
This game is awesome! It combines a bit of puzzle solving with a Souls-like combat mechanic. The level progression is very clear, which is nice. I like being able to spend an hour playing and still feeling like I'm making good progress. The difficulty level is pretty high, and you need to use your brain to figure out a tactic that works for each stage. It can be frustrating from time to time, but it's well worth it when you finally succeed. I would recommend this game to people who like bite-sized challenges with a slightly higher difficulty. Don't expect to breeze through the game on your first try.
I'm not a typical Souls-like fan, and I don't often play Souls-like games, but this gameplay is incredibly interesting and enjoyable. I really enjoy the story, and the ending is fantastic. I like the combination of different types of combat and challenges. For me, the game is not easy, and I died a lot of times, but it has something that sparks curiosity and urges you to keep playing and see what the next challenge has in store. Although the first level was slightly less interesting for me, I'm glad I didn't give up despite all the deaths, and I'm glad I got to see what awaits in the rest of the game. I greatly respect the person who made this on their own. Well done!
The game is a bit difficult to play, but thankfully there are plenty of checkpoints so one does not have to return much in case of failure. Combat is straightforward but addictive. The plot and world are very interesting.
This is pretty decent for its low price, but needs some gameplay adjustments. The combat has too many cheap stun-lock moments which increase the difficulty somewhat artificially. That said, if you can try and be less gung-ho and take your time, you will get the hang of it. Seems like there is a fair amount of levels although I only played through to the first boss. I will definitely come back to this if or when the developer improves the combat. https://youtu.be/Gi4t8PrqWxI
In this game you have 1 slashing attack and 1 thrusting attack, a roll with no iframes, and no defensive controls. Yes, enemies will stop your attack chain by blocking, but you cannot block. The only way to meaningfully deal with enemies is to stand just on the edge of their attack reach, take two steps back, and then wait for the lock-on to glow red, at which point hitting them will dramatically send the enemy flying and deal most of their health, if you do it right. That's pretty much the gameplay. Details? Everything is obscenely stiff, the limited mechanics crumble in the presence of multiple enemies, healing is limited to more or less a single pickup per segment that gives you a varying amount of charges, enemies hold the items you need to progress so the description suggesting avoiding them is simply a lie, ranged enemies simply continue firing at you while you stand in their face cutting them up, enemy vulnerabilities are often in the middle of a combo and if you don't hit them ...
Tbh didnt have high expectations for this based off first impressions (trailer), but i was pretty surprised. So far ive made it past the first big boss, and stopped at this sort of timed running maze / puzzle. For context (for the people who are here because its a soulslike) ive played most every souls and numerous soulslikes Its simultaneously very indie project & unpolished-feeling while also providing this niche style of game i feel like i havent played before but is so... gratifying? Refreshing? If i had to compare it to something, itd be old challenging games before any soulslikes, shit like ghosts n goblins (based on the gameplay ive seen of it lol), though definitely unlike that too. Maybe i can compare it to Furi, too? But also not Theres no blocking, you cant spam dodge, the combat is literally spacing-focused with each of the 3 attacks having consistent use, and im so glad it went this way instead of some copy paste souls formula, this is its own game And like someone else...
The game settings and graphics are very cool. It's a bit hard/difficult to play, especially on a small laptop without a joystick 😊, but the game gives you hints about the controls as you play, so you can get into it very quickly. I really like how it's not all about battling enemies, but there are also these environmental puzzles that give you a break from all the fighting. Soundtrack is very well thought, and it keeps you very engaged throughout the gameplay.
