While playing this game, I could see the hard work and dedication to it. I love the different endings you can get in the game as well as the (soon to be) voice acting in the game. The story was rich with lore and left me knowledge about every character without it being overwhelming or oversharing. The lore was fed naturally. Every character has a unique backstory that can easily become their own games which is incredible to see in an indie game. Even though this game was made by one person, the game looks and feels like it was done by a team of people. I don't play many 2D games, however, the feel of the character is amazing as well as the level design the player is allowed to roam. It's a short game in its early development but the elements of the killer, the scares & thrills, puzzles, obstacles and goals are all there! The story plot is straight forward of its theme "Clown" & "Forest" (of all horrors, why this combo?? but i love it!). the music/composition is fitting and no known bugs thus far I've played. As much as I was terrified for my life of not to get killed, scary movies had prepared me for my survival instincts and I did good! I had fun playing this game! BONUS: The game developer Viper Interactive reached out to me on YT and notifying me the current game will have major updates with much more story line and content that'll que a sequel~. I think the game was mechanically a bit flat, there were some specific segments where the game could have really done with something more, or elements from other parts of the game incorporated into it. The game noticeably runs out of new mechanics and puzzles near the end, although this is likely due to engine limitations. I think the story is quite simple, but very effective. A few narrative elements could have been moved around, readjusted, or otherwise developed further, but it felt solid. Never felt like it was overstaying its welcome. Characters all felt like they had strong motivations, and I'm eager to see where they develop further, although dialogue often felt unnatural due to the lack of contractions used. Decent variety in maps and visuals. The layout of the manor was a particular highlight, as it was very intuitive to navigate over the game. The game overall had a strong setting.

Pros: + Short and simple + Some interesting world building Cons: -too simple -repetitive audio tracks -repetitive game play -repetitive puzzles -some of that world building was unnecessary The game started out great. It created interesting questions and tension to hype up what followed after the introduction. Unfortunately, what followed after was game play that included going from point A to point B with nothing in-between. Once reaching point B, you solve simple, mundane puzzles like, 'find the key to the lock' or 'count items on the screen to find the keycode.' And while that in itself isn't too bad since other games do the same, this game does it ad nauseam. You would think the story would help compensate for the awful game play but it doesn't. The story is that you go camping with friends in some remote woods near a mansion and at night your friends get attacked by a killer clown. I got to run from a big, giant, scary, terrifying, heart pulverising, C0CK shrinking, balls shivering, mother fecking clown... AND BE GAY!!! 10/10 Best Game 👍

The game is very short, but well designed and looks very pretty. Reminds me a lot of The Witch's House. I had to restart halfway after I did some things in the wrong order which prevented me from fully completing it, but given the game's length, it didn't take long at all to redo what I'd done. And given that I grew up on unforgiving point & clicks where softlocking was always to be expected, that didn't bother me too much. I would really like to see this expanded into a longer game. There were places in the house that I assumed I'd be able to get into, but never did. And the dream sequence felt like something that could be expanded on. But overall I really enjoyed this. Edited to say, I played this on the Steam Deck and it worked really well. Screen is windowed, but other than that, all the controls port really well.

While a short game, it has an interesting story and level design. Can't really complain for the price.

The story is pretty simple and rough around the edges, and a lot of the dialog feels flat, but it's not bad for a little horror game. I do appreciate having multiple endings!

Short horror game that fits the price range (Looking at 20ish minutes of playtime) The main character would absolutely not survive a horror movie adaptation with his hilariously bad dialog and complete disregard of whats appropriate when speaking to his mostly dead friends. It had a couple of shock factor moments I wasn't expecting. Didn't come across any game breaking bugs or glitches that you'd usually expect from these smaller titles. Overall a good little game that I'd recommend if you're a fan of obscure indie horror titles.
