About This Game

Just Sign! is a chaotic tower defense for 1 up to 4 players. You have to mine, chop, refine and craft turrets to defend objectives from fearsome enemies like ladybugs, zombies or flying whales!
In Just Sign! you not only have to overcome your foes, but also dynamic maps. While working you will have to avoid traffic, chase minecarts for resources, defend your ship from kraken and move bridges and platforms to achieve your goals!
Play solo or with someone on your couch or over the internet! You will have to build a range of turrets, but most important - work together!

Build turrets!

Build ballistae, flamethrowers, rail guns, cannons and more to deal with different enemies. Combine turrets to get best effects!

Stop the enemies!

Work as a team and stop fearsome enemies like ladybugs, ships and more, but beware different types of enemies need different tactics!

Defend the towers!

Get together and save the world or at least machinery, beehives, ships from destruction.

Co-op!

Gather your friends and play together up to 4 players on the same couch or over the internet. Gamepads and split keyboard are supported.

Solo play

Want to play solo? No problem, whole campaign is designed for solo players too!

Take on the challenge

The game is easy to pick up, but should pose a challenge for everyone. You will have to communicate, divide jobs and also strategize! Different enemies and maps require different strategies - what worked on one map may not work on another.

Dynamic maps

Maps are dynamic! Avoid traffic, falling rocks, chase minecarts for resources, get on top of trucks, move platforms and bridges!

Refine, craft, build, reload

Seems simple? Maybe, but every map will still keep you and your friends on toes!

I found this game on Cooptimus, I play 4 person co-op games all the time so I was very interested. It's overcooked, but tower defense. With coop (including online) up to 4. Unfortunately I cannot recommend. I hate to give a hard time to an indie dev's very first game. So I'm going to try to keep this constructive. The user interface could use some fixing. The audio controls literally do nothing. Can turn Master and Sound Effects all the way down and sound effects will still play at full volume. With Master and Music all the way up there is no music. If you don't have the budget for music, maybe remove that slider? Also, you can only get to those settings from the main menu, it would be nice to be able to change sound settings while in the pause menu. The keyboard inputs cannot be remapped. And the default inputs are bad. Since this game is so much like overcooked, why not just go look at the overcooked key mappings? Spacebar for use is fine, but e for pickup and drop is awkward whe...

Crafting + Tower Defense Gameplay like mixture of Overcooked and Unrailed Great concept, worthwhile, minimalist graphics, fun

I really loved the combination of a tower defence with overcooked-like dynamics and cooperation. Game really shines when played with friends, we had a blast. The graphics are rather simple but stylised to fit the aestethics and feels of the game. Different styles and terrain mechanics for each level ensures that the gameplay does not become repetetive and boring.

A very cool game. You get through it easily at the beginning, and then you actually have to head up. Co-op works very well and playing with others is actually fun. Probably due to the very simple but charming graphics and level idea. I must also add that the game has a lovely soundtrack.

Tower defense Overcooked. Simple, yet fun game with solid execution, especially coop mode. Had a blast playing it with friends as a party game.

Gameplay is very pleasent yet challenging, even in cooperation, which is great. Overcoming challenges and winning games with your mates gives a lot of satisfaction. Moreover, visually it's doing the job. 3d graphics is lovely, there is so much vareation that even after some time it's still fresh and very pleasent for an eye.

Unfortunately, as much as i'd like to support potentially fun couch coop game, the game was released prematurely with too many problems. Gamepad controls are frustrating in the menu. You can't use dpad and can only move it with left joystick, even that only moves it by one option so if you want to go to options, you have move joystick down and back 6 times. On top of that it moves my windows cursor with it on top of the screen. Other than that, there is no indication how to move across menus, like in the controls screen - There is big white sign to switch to Gamepad Controls, but clicking it does nothing and i had to use controller joystick to finally look at gamepad controls. Another problem is, as someone used to overcooked and games in similar genre, i am used to having button A to pick up stuff and X to work with it. While this is clearly inspired by such games, they still decided to make default controls exact opposite. That would not have been a problem as i can change controls...

Bought this game for myself and 3 friends while it was on sale. As of right now (2022/12/24), it is a lot of fun with some rough edges. For a passion project from only two people, I'm very happy with the purchase, and we had a good experience. Overcooked + tower defense = Just Sign!
