Hauntii

A very charming Odyssey-like collection game! The visuals and music is what drew me to the Next Fest demo ages ago, so I'm very happy to finally hit end credits for this game. I'm not one to 100% games, but there's plenty to see and do if I wanted to do so. My pain point would probably be the map (as it wasn't really helpful in the grand scheme of things when it came to traversing) and one particular boss fight. But otherwise, this was a treat!

One of those stellar indie titles that is a must play. Beyond the obvious point of stunning visuals, it has a very charming world with plenty of creative little tasks & challenges. Personally I wish there was more dialogue but what is there is satisfactory and is arguably a plus since the game expects you to read very little and most of it is optional NPCs that you can talk to.

Hauntii was a beautiful game with great storytelling and gorgeous hand drawn visuals. The use of pointillism and simple line drawing led to some jaw dropping moments. You play as a little ghost trapped in the afterlife, collecting memories of your past life. Personally, a couple of the soundtracks felt out of place to me but most of the music was good. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and ended up 100 percenting the game. Would recommend
