Let's put this out of the way. Why I don't recommend it? TL;DR: You get WAY too little content for the money you pay. Long version. You start with 3 people, every couple of days you are given the choice between another recruit or some resources. Also every couple of in-game days (between 8 and 10 depending difficulty level) a boss type monster is spawned. Besides the last boss (the dragon - who owns a personal lair) all others will attack you after a set amount of time. A fight lasts about 5 minutes or less. The problem is... there are not enough bosses or even fights to justify the price tag. If I were to count I'd say 5-6 boss and maybe 10 trash mobs fights. Most of the time is spent watching your guys digging, farming, crafting or sleeping... and waiting for the next boss / trash mob to show up. About as entertaining as watching the grass grow. As for the bosses, they are packed with immunities and undefensible attacks. Same thing applies on the wizard/sorc type trash mobs. They...

What an epic game! I've got a good bead on the survival part, but I still have more to learn on the morale part. I have a scantily-clothed rogue and a bare-chested slayer; you'd think a little skin would keep the troops at least a little entertained, but a few of my folks are fumed. But anyway, this game's pretty rad so far; I've laughed, cursed, rubbed my beard in confusion:everything I was hoping for.

Fonts are hard to read for some reason - Perhaps that can be adjusted in a future update? Two games and two total clan kills later. Rage quit - and made coffee - Now i am going to restart the game and find out where i went wrong.

Well.. i just started and was trying to dig resources. Then i dig up some soil and spawned a freaking manticora a quimera and a leopard man with 2 blades... then 5 seconds laters some globin bandits came, and after 3 minutes i digged up another soil and spawned a Griffon Boss.... WHAT A GAME DUDES!

Promising game but as it is EA it still needs work.

Infested is right. I started out playing on casual mode, and it was wave after wave after wave of impossible to kill monsters. You don't get any time to actually play the game because you're being attacked by massive things that just wipe you out straight away. Even spending all your time just pumping up your characters and ignoring the rest of your base building you can barely make it past the first couple of fights before you've been wiped out. And that's on CASUAL?!?! I dread to think how unplayable the harder levels are....!

This is the only game I know where raiders don't want to kill you. They want to rob you, eat your food, and sleep in your bed.

It is a very interesting and challenging game, But it is still completely buggy. Suddenly, without reason (not angry) the characters just wander around doing nothing. Or the program simply stops in the middle of the battle. If You can accept, that You have to restart about every hour, because something is way off, then You should try it. Otherwise spare Yourself the frustration!

Really awesome game, it's kinda hard but really enjoying it. Highly recommend

Loving it so far! Minor things here and there with the interface and design, but its to be expected for a growing EA title. I think with a little time and patience this could be a real gem.
