About This Game
RGG Studio proudly presents Lost Judgment, the sequel to Judgment that weaves investigative sleuthing, noir narrative, and bone-crushing combat into a story like none other.
INVESTIGATIVE ACTION
Tap into Yagami’s arsenal of private eye tricks to gather clues. Use hi-tech gadgets like drones and listening devices as well as hardboiled gumshoe methods like scaling buildings and tailing suspects to uncover the truth. No stronger evidence than catching a suspect in the act.
FREEFORM COMBAT
Master Yagami’s three unique, combo-heavy martial arts styles to overcome any situation from group ambushes to single-target takedowns. Plus, expand your arsenal with street signs, bicycles, and more to pack an even bigger punch.
DEEP UNDERCOVER
Go undercover as a high school club advisor to get to the root of the mystery, and have some fun along the way. Join the Dance Club and groove to the rhythm with your students. Challenge your ingenuity at the Robotics Club. Test your moves against fierce opponents at the boxing gym. You can even join the biker gang, where underground racing is the only way to earn respect.
HIT THE STREETS
As you comb the cities of Kamurocho and Ijincho in pursuit of the truth, take a break and get to know the unique culture of each city through bars and other nightlife hotspots. It may be worth taking on a Side Case to lend your detective skills to residents in need—you never know what might come of it.

improves on EVERYTHING from Judgment aside from story and it’s one of my favorite RGG games, period School Stories were fantastic Yagami is overpowered and it's kinda too easy on hard though
It's good game with interesting detective plot and high-quality cut-scenes. Though, fights are similar like the Yakudza 0 and series they give much enjoyment. Defenitely, the game worths wasted money.
as a diehard yakuza fan who's played 0-6 (currently halfway through 7), the first judgment did not impress me at all. in fact, i gave up and watched the cutscenes on youtube. although i did think the ending was cool, i couldnt bear playing again due to all the filler in the middle of main story missions. this game, however, had my interest instantly. it was so refreshing to see a RGG game that doesn't involve a yakuza muder mystery. instead, you're working with everyday civilians who struggle with things almost everyone in the world as experienced. its very relatable, and definitely feels more emotional due to how real the story feels. it definitely makes you rethink morals, and what is right and wrong to a person. the story isnt the only thing great about this game, because the combat is really where the game shines. going back to a whopping 4 COMBAT STYLES makes you realize how fun it was in yakuza 0/kiwami. all 4 of yagami's styles are each useful for their one combat scenarios, ...
I liked it. Then I had to play ze shogi, ze mahjong, ze tailing missions, ze stealth sections and SPECIALLY SPECIALLY the Super Amon bossfight. Combat, save for a couple instances, is pretty good, but it's almost Kiwami 1 levels of unpleasant filler. You can patch it up with mods but I dunno, ultimately it didn't feel that great. Take into account that my favorite is Kiwami 2, which is apparently a contentious opinion to have in the fandom. I base that on the fact that Kiryu's got a complete fighting style on that one, and it feels good. You got pretty much one of everything and then it's just a matter of applying it properly. Yagami has one of everything. Hell, he has three- AND they're usually the best versions of it. But he has it spread over four styles, and none of these styles feel fun individually. 6 and K2 Kiryu is a complete character who doesn't really need to stance dance. Kaito's Bruiser is a lot more fleshed out and better than Tank, Tank is just a parry button. But ...
Overall the game is really good but the biker gang minigame almost warrants a negative review by itself with how bad it was. 1) Rubber banding nonsense 2) Tedious boss fights that doesnt respect your time 3) Extremely long compared to the other better ones like virtua fighter, etc.
This is the first "yakuza" game that i gave up on. As a note, i didn't play like a dragon ones as i don't like turn based combat. This particular game deals with high school bullying as a starter to the story while matched with a train groping case. Gone are the tojo clan wars. gone are the noble men who would rip off their shirts to show the yakuza tattoos and battle against impossible odds. Gone is Kiriyu who would move heaven and hell for his adoptive daughter because it was the right thing to do. Atleast in the fist game we were fighting against the yakuza and a government conspiracy. Instead of that - have a parkour mechanic, that was done better 15 years ago in assassin's creed <1>. ONE! I don't know and i don't care how this game ends. At the very least, the first one made me into a detective trying to figure out a fund embezzlement plot and the second makes me into a dance dance revolution teacher, because there is a bad guy somewhere in the city. FCK this!
King Kong ain't got sxit on Kaito aniki.
