Absolutely lovely and chill puzzler. The puzzles are not terribly difficult, and if you mess up, you can exit and come back in at the start of the puzzle and try again. Some puzzles are more complicated in that they take a good number of steps to complete. Some have only one apparent solution, others have multiple solutions that will work. Needs a bit of brain power for some, but none are like trying to do higher math or build a rocket. There is some "scary" stuff that might happen that may upset very young children, but older children could probably play this game safely as long as someone is there to explain what is happening is a metaphor, and not real. Parents usually know their children well enough to know if anything in this game would freak them out- if the grown-ups play the game first. So I'll say it is family-friendly, within limits. Not for really young children. The artwork is serene and abstract. May not work well for folks with certain form of color-blindness. Chech s...

Loop is a fun puzzle game where you have an AI friend that you solve puzzles, ride space skateboards, and heal the world with. The game seems simple yet rewarding; the music is quite great to listen to. This seems worth checking out. For my full feelings, please see this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxq4Az3mCNw Thank you.
This game is infuriatinly BAD, it may be the most insulting game i have EVER PLAYED. For starters, its a case study on how NOT to be inspired by Journey. I mean, dev took all that made said game great and threw it out the window, just leaving an empty shell of heaviy inspired worst artstyle. But that is not the worst, no. This game is (to me) a new genre, I HENCEFORTH NAME IT THE PUZZLE SIMULATOR (sort of what would happen if a visual novel tried to convince you are actually playing or a walking simulator trying to pass for clever gameplay). No, not a puzzle game, because its too linear and at NO POINT is there ANY doubt of what you have to do, it is so linear, every move (except one) of the """"puzzles"""" is one straight derivated from the previous one. And sometimes, the AI plays it FOR YOU!!!! Most movements are slow as f*ck AND sometimes you have to push a rock a long way only to have to push it back the other way, not because a mistake but because that was the intended sequ...
This is a beautiful relaxing game. I still have just reached the second of the levels, loving the mysterious foggy temple, the colors give a sense of aliveness and at the same time the pieces and visuals remind me of a lost ancient civilization. Puzzles are simple and logic-based so it's easy to focus on the journey and environments. I already met my mentor! I want to keep discovering where the puzzles and the mentor will take me in this chilled out adventure.
The game and music was really pretty, it was relatively easy but not like too easy cause I still struggled on some puzzles. I played it on android first then replayed it a bit on pc. The controller feels a lot better tbh. Overall I thought it was a really fun game, and I'm excited to see what other games they make later!
This is the type of game that is helpful for deep depression, meditation or for decompression. Every game has an optimal time for playthrough. I have played this through another account and even though I have just started on this one, it is now become a regular feature for me. I really need this beautiful art style and music to unwind my mind. Perfect 10 for those kind of scearios.
I enjoyed every aspect of Loop. Thank you devs!!
If you really like relaxing games with beautiful music and atmosphere where you uncover ancient truths through a series of puzzles, this game is for you. A very fun game made by a very talented team!
This game is not a puzzle game, it's an isometric walking sim. The only good thing it has going for it are the stylized graphics and music, that's it. The game itself is horrible. The most dull thing ever. This is a masterclass in lazy level design. Seriously, let me put it like this: if you played the game for 5min, you basically played the whole game. There will be nothing new. You do the EXACT same thing over and over, just on a larger scale. The only thing that you do: push a block veeeeeeery slowly on top of a switch to activate a platform or a gate, that's it. Extremely linear. There is nothing else! Maybe someone with the IQ of a jellyfish could consider this a puzzle. I think there is more challenge in those toddler's toys where you have to fit the correct shape into the hole, like a cube into a square hole, a cylinder into a round hole, etc...
Such a wonderful and unique puzzle game. Is the game a bit too simple, yes. Is that ok, YES. This game does everything right when it comes to being a relaxing turn your brain off type of game that also makes you think about the what if and what does this mean, whats the message behind this. I love this game from the breathtaking art style, to the lovely sound track and the wonderful narrative the game is able to tell. I found it really fun and interesting how the AI mentor was there to help in every puzzle and how you had to work with your mentor to get through each challenge, even if it cuts the work the player needs to do in half it kinda makes you feel like you are actually playing with another player who understands exactly what needs to be done and how to do it. my only complaint about the game is the menu icons, due to the lack of text its kinda really difficult to understand what some of the settings in the menu do eg the controller icon. Other than that though well done! Such ...
