Mmm.. That is a very good score-chasing minimalist city-building with a combo mechanic and interesting tiles that keep your playthroughs fresh and ever-changing. You have two gamemodes, classic, with a limited number of moves, and advanced, with more freedom to build, change and rebuild that can go infinitely if you are tactical and methodical. Yes it is a relaxing experience, since there is no timer or time constraint, it is turn-based, but I wouldn't call the game a relaxing city-builder because, imo, it is way better described and enjoyed as puzzle, arcade and score chasing, because that is really what the game is about. Make combos, think strategicaly and get to the top of the leaderboards before you screw yourself and reach the end of the game. Really interesting to see how a game is described on the store page, which angle is used to sell it, and how it feels to be played once you try it for yourself. You can easily change the description and try to reach an other audience wi...

Just started playing but I love it so far. I think the third round is when it clicked for me, in terms of really how to stratagize in the game. It's visually very pleasing to look at and the music is really great; sometimes ultra chill and sometimes up beat and funky. The whole point of the game is to make efficient use of different city themed tiles and fill a whole grid with the best combos and most amount of points. You just try to get a higher and higher score. It's a lot of fun!
City Limits is for every one
A very relaxing game with a tremendous potential: don't get fooled! City Limits offers an endless amount of unique scenarios and it's not as easy as it looks, it may happen to stare at your screen for a good minute before deciding which building to place when you're trying to break your record. It's both suitable for really casual players and for more expert ones, re-playability surely isn't a problem, the game puts you in a kinda tetris-chess environment with few random factors, planning every move largely advantages you. Wheter you want to play advanced or classic, spike spread or not, this game will not disappoint you. Recommended!

City Limits is a cute puzzle game with a pretty simple gameplay mechanic that has a decent amount of depth. Learning how to best use the building combos to maximize your score is pretty fun. I haven't played a whole bunch and tbh i'm probably not clever enough to really rake in the points, but playing it has been an enjoyable relaxing time.

This is one of the simplest city builders I've ever played and I love that. I'm a sucker for games that can take the feel of an existing genre and make it into a puzzle. I played this over and over and expect to come back to it for a long time.

As someone who went from an absolute novice to the second best player in the advanced mode in a matter of 4 hours, I'd say that I'm a pretty big fan of this game. Didn't expect the fun and unique soundtrack, and I certainly didn't expect to be topping any leaderboards but once you get the hang of the game it is a super fun endless puzzler. Sweet indie title to check out if you haven't already and like puzzle type games.
