Better and longer than RE2 and RE3 (Including DLC). Unlike previous games, this one has a lot of enemies and sometimes it even seems too much, items in box are random and this makes it difficult plan your run on (S+). No problems with technical part, no crashes, no lag, no bags. Most likely, Leon started smoking a lot after Raccoon City because he have heavy breath after 5 seconds of easy jogging. P.S. Completed all games, it was fun, thanks Capcom.

Capcom should call this Resident Evil --> Resident Evil Escalation or Resident Evil Souls Like. If you like more action in Resident Evil --> this game is perfect. 10/10 +The settings are truly incredible / lots of variety in fights Salazar Castle is perhaps one of the best "dungeon designs" ever created. But if you're more into puzzles, exploration, and horror in Resident Evil, you might want to think twice about whether this is the right game for you. Because the action is really intense. ---- I just say catapult part with Ashley ....... It destroyed my nerves --- But overall RE4 Remake is one of the best Remakes of our time.
This serves as a retrospective but still a review, more or less. From the achievements titled after many of iconic corny one-liners in the OG to the shooting range bonus time theme which will make you shed a tear of nostalgia, RE4R is a beautifully-crafted love letter to all the 2005 fans, with even more replayability than the OG — all while being perfectly suitable for newcomers. It's wild how fans who had been skeptical about a 4 remake, came to love this more than the OG. Overall (putting nostalgia blindness aside), it IS superior to OG, and man new Luis is just PEAK . I love his new suave voice and how he stole more scenes than in the original becoming more than just comic relief. This time Ashley isn’t a pain in the ahh anymore, now with more realistic vulnerability and fear of getting possessed. Let's dive into it. First thing you realize when opening the game is main menu is now night-dark instead of the og bright morning, conveying the chan...
There's nothing I can think to say that hasn't been said a thousand times. Just buy it if you like zombie games and beautiful blonde hair men
a worse version of a classic: gameplay: while playing a lot smoother with it no longer having tank controls its a lot less engaging. -you can now parry with you knife, making everything a bloody quick time event untill it breaks/ -guns now dont handle as well, lower accuracy and less impactfull feeling -it took a lot of things from re2 like the map that just tells you if you missed something music: white noise story: a b-movie rewritten by boring nerds, the og game had quit a bit of humour which has been minimized in this remake that tries to walk the impossible line between the originals b-movie comedy and the horror that we saw in re7 and it fails, its now neither. the general series of events is the same but just worse. performance: dogshit, if it got any worse we would get negative framerate. i can run it but anyone using graphics cards before the 40 series should just not even try or get some mod that improves it. graphics: meh, it tries to go for hyperrealism (r...
Its okay, I’ve played this game before. -trust me-. Resident Evil 4: Remake is a Remake of Resident Evil: Dead Aim. You play as Leon Scott Kennedy, a former rookie in the Raccoon City Police Department turned secret service member for the United States Government. The Presidents daughter is kidnapped by a mysterious cult, and you have to be a bad enough dude to save her! Luckily, this time, Leon understands Spanish and can just ask his way around. But it doesn’t help because the evil cultist guys attack him with axes and knives and other sharp/blunt objects. So now, with nothing but 6 bullets, a knife, and the ability of Karate, Leon ventures further into this WORLD OF NIGHTMARES Resident Evil: Beat Everyone’s Ass Edition, is a third person action shooter that pretends to be a horror game for maybe the first 40 minutes before you remember you can round house kick people’s heads clean off. You need to understand just how big of a deal the classic Resident Ev...
NO THANKS BRO!
Is what I would say to capcom even after I got the remake at 50% off because this remake is lacking and boring in the story and action and camp department. Apparently, this remake is trying to take the plot so seriously, that it lost the unbeatable charm of the original resident evil 4. I noticed that they don’t do jokes and that the characters aren’t having fun (I mean it is a life-threatening situation but come on, its Leon Kennedy, the superhero of the resident evil franchise aside from Chris the boulder-puncher) I noticed that they were taking this remake to be more of a horror thriller when they got chased by the Big cheese and then the bridge exploded, u know, the cutscene before the Big cheese boss fight. The original was more of an action comedy and I really missed that but don’t get me wrong, I will still keep playing this until I finished it for the nth time because of the level design and the overall gameplay and gunplay but I do w...
Read more of my reviews: https://backloggd.com/games/resident-evil-4--1/ Revisiting Resident Evil 4 once again kinda felt surreal. I wasn't really sure what to expect going into it. I knew that the game was faithful to the original game but also changed and updated the game in some significant ways too. So after spending just shy of 20 hours on my play through is this more remake or remaster? Honestly I feel like its a bit of both. The first time I ever played Resident Evil 4 was the HD version on the Xbox 360. I had actually played Resident Evil 5 before I got a chance to play 4, beat that game on every difficulty and unlocked everything you could possibly get. And after all that I still sunk another 100 hours into the Mercenaries mode, so needless to say I was very excited when Resident Evil 4 HD got announced. Much like RE5 I would end up playing this game front to back, unlocking everything I possibly could, going for the fastest complete times I could get. Starting RE4 Remake f...
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Resident Evil 4 Remake is amazing so far! The graphics, atmosphere, and gameplay are top-notch. Every fight feels intense, and the world is so immersive it keeps me hooked. I haven’t finished it yet, but it’s already one of the best gaming experiences I’ve had in a long time.
An upgrade over the original (which i thought is impossible). I've played the OG RE4 in every device i had, even my phone with dolphin emulator. This game so good, i bought it even if i cracked this from steamrip before xD
