About This Game

For Max Payne, the tragedies that took his loved ones years ago are wounds that refuse to heal.

No longer a cop, close to washed up and addicted to pain killers, Max takes a job in São Paulo, Brazil, protecting the family of wealthy real estate mogul Rodrigo Branco, in an effort to finally escape his troubled past. But as events spiral out of his control, Max Payne finds himself alone on the streets of an unfamiliar city, desperately searching for the truth and fighting for a way out.

Combining cutting edge shooting mechanics with a dark and twisted story, Max Payne 3 is a seamless, highly detailed, cinematic experience from Rockstar Games.

This complete edition of Max Payne 3 includes the complete original game and all previously released downloadable content including Deathmatch Made In Heaven, Painful Memories Pack, Hostage Negotiation Pack, Local Justice Pack, Silent Killer Loadout Pack, Cemetery Map, Special Edition Pack, Deadly Force Burst, Pill Bottle Item, and the Classic Max Payne 1 Character.

I'm not buying ANYTHING from Rockstar games cause my steam account is permanently and irreparably linked to a old Rockstar account. If i try to launch a game bought on steam it will ask me to recover my childhood Rockstar account i lost 15 years ago and won't let me play a game i own in the only platform i care about, Steam. I tried with Steam support, but they can't unlink them because it's up to Rockstar, but Rockstar wants me to access the 15 year old email simply to perform a disconnection from my Steam account which obviously I can prove to be in my possession. I'm going to laugh when people will be buying GTA 6 on Steam and will have to refund it because he can't play it. EDIT: I want the special kids who laugh about my issue to know that I opened the sixth ticket with those bags of manure of rockstar games, and they've just wasted my time yet again. They ask me for information, pretend they want to resolve the issue, and then close the ticket like bastards after i sent them a...

Had fun playing as a drunk and depressed ex-police-detective shooting lots of bad people, while listening to the soundtrack produced by my favorite band. Also learned a plenty of portuguese slurs

Best game ever if Rockstar doesn't make a 4 I'll shave my head, drink vodka, and take painkillers then go on a rampage in a favela in Brazil

Any game that lets you shoot down a bazooka rocket with your bullets can’t be bad. Having played all three Max Payne titles back-to-back in a single week, I have to say this third entry shares surprisingly little DNA with the first two. Sure, it still delivers a dark and gritty story, but the signature noir atmosphere is gone. That said, this doesn’t make it a bad game—quite the opposite. This might just be the best gunplay I’ve ever experienced. The action is relentless, and with the wide arsenal at your disposal, combined with the series’ iconic bullet time, it’s pure, unfiltered shooting bliss. While the story may not feel like a traditional Max Payne tale, it’s still among the best in the genre. This title stands as a marvel in its own right, and absolutely deserves to be played.

What a horrendous sequel to such a beloved series. Each and every single action sequence takes between 2 and 30 seconds before an unskippable cutscene occurs. And every single cutscene unequips your gun to default so you'll have to change it back about a hundred times in total. There are no level designs. You only go forward, take cover and wait for enemies to poke out their head unlike the originals that were run and gun. Story is somewhat okay. Max's character is very different and it is obvious that they ignored his character development from the second title. Ending is nice and a good conclusion to the series.

i really enjoy this magnificent trilogy (my favorite is the 2 ) but this part 3 is a great improvment in the story of this franchise, this one is made by rockstar instead of remedy,i like the end of max journey finally finding peace and joy maybe is a little to short compared to the first ones but this game had a great gameplay and mechanics like covert system and the IA who is hard if you play it in the extreme difficult the only bad thing i see in this wonderful game is the MULTIPLAYER i dont like the idea that a game had online trophys for a lot of things like the tryhards and closes of the servers but is a great game with a good plot and excelent end i really love it 9/10

I have always been a fan of the series, I remember as a kid playing max payne 1 on my old box computer, and thought it was the coolest game ever, being a cop and all beating up the bad guys! Then growing up kind of missed max payne 2, but ended up playing it older. Max Payne 3 is different but its such a solid game, with a big plot twist, the story was well written and Brazil was such a cool place to for this game! Long live MAX!
