While its a bit rough around the edges, Robot Revolt has enough unique ideas and fun mechanics to quickly become one of my favorite games in the horde survival genre. For starters, the vehicle controls feel great. Boosting for dodging and ramming enemies is a lot of fun. The mini dungeons are simple but a very nice addition. Finding and beating these opens blueprints for a large list traits that can be equipped before the start of a run adding some nice pre-run customization. I really like the shops having a purchasable item called "Directions" Once purchased, an arrow and distance indicator shows up pointing out the next mini dungeon. The weapons each feel unique and have a wide variety of build choices. For example, once you get a machine gun, you can choose to upgrade how many guns you have to target multiple enemies or focus on the fire rate or damage, etc. Its fun to explore the different combinations possible for each skill. It works and feels MUCH better now than it just did just a couple of days ago... The controls are right and very simple to use as in you just use the WASD keys to move your vehicle in whatever direction you want to go. (W = go up, S = go down, A = go left, D = go right). All you have to do is worry about moving and dodging and staying alive and you'll get choices for guns and level-ups for your gun as your level up your vehicle as you play. The guns all shoot nearby enemies automatically letting you focus on staying alive and just having "fun"! I really admire...

This is such a fun little game! If you're into Vampire Survivors or that type of "survive endless waves of dudes" style game, this is an excellent one of those. The graphics are stylish and snazzy, the weapons and items have different ways of upgrading them that let you build out your vehicle in unique and cool ways, and the dungeons are a super rad way of collecting perks to enhance your current build. I genuinely love this game, once you get rolling you can make some pretty bonkers combinations of weapons and items that are hilarious to see in action. I'm personally a big fan of using Corpse Exploder combined with the Weighted Dice for extra crits + crit heals and the Machine Gun with pierce to just fire into crowds and wipe them out in a giant chain of explosions. Definitely, definitely recommend this game!

No persistent unlocks. Game feels like you're accomplishing nothing. This game has evolved! Lots of neat stuff to screw around with. Looking forward to coming back for even more!

nice little game

A unique and entertaining take on the rogue-lite genre! Love the steering mechanics and being able to pop flip over enemies and also being able to cut a u-turn and run on a dime if I'm having health mgmt issues lol. Can't wait unlock more traits and for the devs to add more incremental weapon choices!

Game is good, but lacking content. Also, it's been completely overhauled from the last time I played it. Which isn't a bad thing, but it does mean it's taking longer. I love the concept of the vehicles and how you upgrade weapons, along with the portal system and the short playtime. My only reason for having this negative review is that I don't know where the developer looks for issues. I just want to bring up that you can soft lock yourself in dungeons if you have enough knockback from explosives or ramming to push enemies outside the play area. I'd have like 3+ runs ruined so far from this so I'd like it fixed when you can.

Decent/Good survivor like, collecting modules to customize what stats you prefer to go for in a run. Weapon balance feels a off, some seem they do a decent job throughout a run whilst others (shotgun) can't kill things at lvl 1

Spiders jump on you and you die. Half cooked game.
