Awful level design. Awful visuals. Awful controls and physics. Might honestly be the worst Sonic game I've ever played. Not a single level was even slightly tolerable or competent. Whenever it's not frustrating, it's completely mindless

This game is COMPLETE DOGSHIT to play, from the weird physics they went with, the rendering that looks like the saturation is turned up to %1000 or the fact that most of the levels are either stupidly easy or stupidly hard. If you're looking for a fun time with a Sonic game, look elswhere.

Sonic 4 is a very poor attempt by SEGA and Dimps at making a classic Sonic title. The game has a very poor art design (Sonic looks like poorly rendered plastic), poor gameplay (Sonic can STAND ON WALLS in a momentum and speed-based physics platformer), the story is more nonexistant than the classic Genesis titles and has plot holes (HOW does Sonic get the rocket made by Tails to get to Eggman when Tails doesn't appear in this game), and the music is...something (that most people deride it in a series known for legendary music should say something). Sonic the Hedgehog is a series that demands more quality than what is literally a repurposed mobile game. I hope SEGA has this running on a computer in their offices to remind them not to be lazy. ....That being said, it IS $10. So at least it's cheap. Curious gamers don't need to worry about dropping too much on it. Buy it through the Legacy Bundle, though. You get games you'll actually want to play to go along with the garbage.

Quite possibly the most soulless game I've ever played, in addition to just having bad level design, crappy physics and controls, and just being generally unfun.

This game is bad and not worth you 10 bucks it ruins everything about the classic sonic gameplay. Controls are clunky, homing dash???, and not so great sound tracks it is not a good experience. However if you are looking for a game that's not so high paced and maybe just a one week phase (Or you like bad video game) I would recommend this piece of garbage to you. Thank you for reading this
