User Reviews
TLDR: Don't buy this game if you care about achievements or bug free gameplay because this game has neither of thoses. I went back to have a pallet cleanser from the turd that valhalla is and get some nostalgia at the same time and honestly this game deserve a positive review on so many aspects but the lack of care and polish for bugs that are still here years later by itself deserves a negative review (I had some of thoses same bugs on ps3 back in the days...). It is unacceptable that even after 14 years you guys still dare to sell defective products with bugs that should not even been shipped in the first place. From now on i'll stop to buy any of your games since you guys seems to have a company culture of not giving a single fuck about your customers. And to that i'll answer with not giving a single fuck about any of your future releases. If anyone is curious about the bug I was talking about just google "Altair's memory 3 Crash" and you will understand what I am reffering to and...
I don't know why I ever thought of this game as the worst in the Ezio trilogy: it has the best writing, parkour, combat, pacing and structure out of all of them. The thought-provoking dialogue of AC1 that I so missed in 2 and Brotherhood on this playthrough is back, and it never should've been gone. This is a spectacularly focused experience that never overstays its welcome and always has something to say or show.
Game seems so buggy it is near unplayable. It does not run well at all, seems to have not been ported very well. Considering there are recent patches, they've not done a good job actually making the game still work.
DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP! The game ran just fine up until Sequence 7 and then it kept crashing during the Shahkulu fight. I've tried every solution from the Internet to make it work and nothing seems to work. What a garbage product. The game itself is a decent AC game. But honestly this garbage should not be supported. Do not give Ubisoft your money for this, even on a sale.

Assassin’s Creed® Revelations is a paradox mechanically familiar, narratively essential. It’s not the most innovative entry, but as a final act, it’s unmatched in emotional weight and thematic closure. It’s a game about legacy of men, of cities, of ideas and it leaves you with the bittersweet ache of saying goodbye. A masterful farewell wrapped in the silk and steel of Constantinople.
Do not purchase. The game is unstable, with frequent crashes even years after release. A game-breaking bug in Sequence 7 prevents completion unless you modify game files. When Ubisoft removed multiplayer, they also broke other in-game systems, content tied to achievements became inaccessible, making 100% completion impossible. If it’s not worth the developers’ time to fix, it’s not worth yours to play or pay for
For anyone looking to explore all corners of this game, don't bother. The current version of the game renders Desmond's Journey unplayable, and I don't have time to deal with workarounds. What a shame. I will adjust my review if this is every fixed. Otherwise, a terrific game.
Game unfortunately is unplayable on the steam deck because there's no options for a controller. Tried several work arounds with no success and ultimately refunded it which is a shame because the Ezio trilogy are my favorite of the series and Brotherhood has no issue with this. It also doesn't help that I have to log in to ubisoft connect every single time I booted the game with a new work around attempt. If on steam deck, do not buy.
