I played the demo and felt controls and performance sucked. Reading the reviews just reinforced that feeling. But the full game felt better, performance is good and the controls feel decent. What I like is that I can ride my bike like crazy and maneuver through traffic and pedestrians without further consideration then get home and play the game. What I didn't like: - I can use my phone while riding but I can't peek with the camera unless I fully stop; - "streaming chat" should've been optional; - fail state animations (when you crash) take too long.

User Reviews
Bought it on sale and what an awesome game, just going around in this game feels good. I would have bought it for full price if I knew how good it was. Give it a chance people! the reviews are so harsh.
I feel awful giving this game a negative review, so I’ll start with the good stuff. Parcel Corps looks amazing—the visuals are striking, the soundtrack is solid, and the sound effects blend nicely with the art direction. It’s a pleasure to watch while you’re playing. Unfortunately, the gameplay itself falls short. The control scheme feels counter‑intuitive. Brakes are on the triggers (which is fine), acceleration is on the bottom face button, and jump is on the left face button (which also performs tricks in the air). You steer with the left stick, while the right stick is dedicated to the phone overlay, summoned with the top face button. Grinding is mapped to the left shoulder button—sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, leaning down is done via right shoulder button. On paper the layout isn’t terrible, but in practice it never feels natural. After a few hours of play, I still have to “refresh” my muscle memory each time I sit down to play again. Having ...
It starts off with the kind of annoying tutorial that overstays its welcome and at first the controls seem out of whack but once you graduate the training wheels stage and get in the groove of pulling off tricks, the thrill of roaming the semi-open urban playground littered with stunt ops and verticality really pays off. Animations feel very fluid, responsive and satisfying. Delivery trials offer up a fair challenge. It's also well optimized and runs great even on my laptop's puny integrated graphics, which is more than can be said about many big n bloated triple A outings. Shout out to devs, all around great little indie that swings for the fences to deliver the fun.
