Pedro Land DX is a collection of six retro-themed platformers, in the vein of the original Super Mario Bros. Each game is quite short but is packed with tough platforming and enemies. It's certainly worth the price of admission, and is an entertaining and enjoyable experience, even if it's a short one. However, while it definitely has it's highs, such as the music and some honestly very nice simplistic pixel art, it also has it's lows, namely in a few bugs. Specifically, there are issues with bosses not gaining aggro on the player, which makes the boss rushes more doable but detracts a lot of tension. While these bugs slightly sour the experience, they don't ruin it by any means. Additionally, I want to point out that this is one of the dev's first games, which I found to be a very impressive feat. Taco Tower marks Pedro Sombrero's start as a hero. His goal is to reclaim the ancient spire of his ancestors from the rabid monsters that roam his homeland, Doon.

I really wanted to like this game but some of the jumping / collision detection made it more frustrating than fun.
Fun Platformer that has some challenging spots that feel rewarding once you get past them. Beat Taco tower and have made my way into pedro land (found one of the hidden doors in the game and beating my head against that level).
