About This Game

Choo choo! The train is pulling into the station, bringing the very first batch of gourdlet citizens to their new island home. Your job is to build them a perfect town.

But don’t worry – Gourdlets are super laid back, and they’ll be happy no matter what you build. The only real challenge is pleasing yourself!

From cafes to lighthouses, planters to fountains, there’s a huge catalogue of decorations to play with. You can even go inside buildings and arrange the furniture how you like.

The gourdlets will make themselves at home in your town, fishing, reading, camping, snoozing, and generally having a grand old time. Craft the perfect veggie town in Gourdlets!

You can choose to play in full screen, or in “idle window mode” to let your gourdlets hang out at the bottom of your screen while you get on with other things on your PC.

Features:
 • Build a perfect town and watch the adorable gourdlets inhabit your world!
 • A super chill game with no objectives or fail states!
 • Gourdlets hang out at the bottom of your screen in idle window mode!
 • Customize your Gourdlet citizens with cute accessories!
 • Day-night cycles and customizable weather!
 • A huge catalogue of buildings and decorations!
 • Choose from a variety of starter maps for an extra creative challenge!
 • Zero currency! (Capitalism makes the gourdlets tired)

Very aesthetically pleasing. A beautifully simple game. I hope we get an update in the future that lets us assign gourdlets to do something, and not just have them walk around. It feels very much like we are just designing a town and watching them instead of playing with these adorable little creatures. I can't wait to see what kind of updates are in store for us!

Extremely cute! Unfortunately I can't say there's much beyond what you can see in the video previews/trailers. The description saying there's no objectives or points isn't exactly true; you have to unlock furniture by inviting gourdlets and waiting until they grow flowers until they fill a bar, which I assume is coded with a numerical value which... well, I would call those points. But it's a sandbox game, so you make your own goals. Except I made a goal to build a theme park, but realised there was a ferris wheel and nothing else. I made a goal to build a market, but got as far as some tables and umbrellas before finding there was barely anything I could put on them. I tried to make a forest camping ground, a beach, a bakery, a farmer's store, an arcade, but all of the decorations were so sparse and disjointed without even including the fact that sometimes I'd have to wait an hour before randomly unlocking the next one. It didn't feel like there were no objectives because I was...

the Game is cute but it ends up being a little boring. the gourdlets take a while to do anything, the decorations arent that different from each other and the whole furnishing aspect ends up feeling more tedious than fun or rewarding. theres nothing to do with the gourdlets and nothing to really interact with. its just clicking and staring. its nice to let idle on your PC while you do other things.

Built my little guys a farm and planted lots of stuff, so they have things to do. It’s a fun game—I like just watching them run around, doing stuff. :) For the price of a coffee its a great game.

Super cute and great world builder with little Gourdlets to interact with your Islands or towns you build. You don't have to edit the inside of the buildings since they only go inside when you do, but its super cute to try to make little businesses around town with different music settings and everything. Long story short: its an adorable, wholesome, world building game with idle features.

This is a really cute and relaxing game! The Gourdlets are adorable, I'm already attached. My only complaints are that I wish there was more furniture/building/food/customization options and personality/activities for the Gourdlets to have. It would be nice to see them have relationships and little jobs that they can do (even if capitalism is uninteresting to them, it would be fun to see them roleplay as workers for the buildings that we make. Like I made a grocery store, it would be nice for a Gourdlet to pretend to run it.) Other than those things, this is a great game! I want more games like this.

wanted to build a restaurant | started by building storage | wasn't able to figure out how to make an indoor wall| said: "ok, i'll deal with that later" | realized i had stopped paying attention to the storage area and was doing the seats | got frustrated because i didn't know how i wanted the seats to look like | looked at the walls, the floor, and all the areas i had yet to figure out how to do/what to do with | looked at the seasons and got scared that i was spending too much time on the restaurant and was gonna miss anything exclusive to my current season | closed the game | put my head in my hands | said: "i can't do this" | refunded the game. can see how some people might find the game relaxing(why i recommend it) but i freaked tf out

I absolutely love this game. I love building my little cozy town and giving all my little guys a house. I would love more furniture and customization, but for what it is, at the price it is, it's great. The perfect kind of relax and kick back game for rainy days.
