If there had been an option for "neither positive or negative" I would have used that, but I guess I have to go for negative. The idea of this game sounded very interesting. Playing a city builder to produce resources and troops for a strategy game is something I have never done before, and it combines two genres that I like. Sadly I don't think it quite worked out, at least not for now. The city building part is not bad at all but the strategy game is not that great. It does make sense that the strategy game goes slow so that you have time to play the city builder, but it feels wierd. I also noticed how the AI seem to be ignoring most of the things that are holding the player back. For instance, expanding in the strategy game drains lots of money, but the AI expands like crazy with no regard for resources. Also, when the AI will have very sudden and extreme spikes when it comes to how much research they are doing. When I played on the easiest difficulty, I got through the early...

... Well, another factory and sleep... Well, another conveyor and sleep... What do you mean, it's 5 a.m.?
It's a pretty cool game, but it needs optimization. Hitting 45 FPS on my 4070Ti 13600K 32GB RAM system while maintaining a 45%-55% GPU and CPU utilization is just wrong. Mind you, this was in the larger tutorial city, the second one, so decently populated but nothing too much. I had also reduced the settings by quite an amount. It just needs work. I cannot recommend this game right now. A pity, it seemed quite interesting. I will revisit Kaiserpunk in the future, both to play and to update my review - should the dramatic changes required take place. [Edit after developer response]: Thank you for your response kind dev, if nothing else it shows that you really care! I really do hope you guys get to fix the issues, since as I said the game itself seemed very interesting and I really want to get to play it.
So this is primarily a city builder. I don't think it would be controversial to say it was heavily influenced by the Anno games, citizens have levels, needs & luxuries and the factories and farms require different citizen levels etc. There are production chains, like Anno, where you plant, for example, wheat fields, that require a mill to produce grain, and a bakery to produce bread. The warehouses are city wide, so once produce is in a warehouse, it can be used anywhere, unemployment is not an issue, and the citizens pay taxes based on how well you satisfy their needs, etc etc. So, is it as good as Anno ? No, of course not, Anno is a long running series produced by a major AAA publisher, and I wouldn't expect this to compete with it. However, the question is then, what does this game do that's unique and different to others in the genre, and what makes it stand out and give it interest ahead of other games and of course, its competitors. With Kaiserpunk, it's two things, I think. ...
i play 3 nation over 40 h gamplay. i like the idea of the game. at the beginning its quite nice to play but up from the midgame it sucks because most of the mechanics of the strategie map do not work. the ai has options for attacking that for the player not exist. but the most missing is that i write the gamesupport at discourt and inform about the problems. but i never get any answer or enything else happend with my bug treat in the forum. NO SUPPORT. it feels like they are not interested in fix the bugs only in collecting money. And that's why i do my thumb down for the game. it plays like a bad betha version, but you buy it like a complete game!!!
I love the idea, the theme, the simcity and world conquest. It's what I've been asking for. Biggest con I have is, when looking for resource nodes after it was built. you have to search and guess instead of just allowing us to click the building through the list of production or to at least quickly click them faster. Maybe there's an option for it, but I couldn't find anything about it online. Small con, the soldier uniform are all brits, but not the tanks. I wish the soldier uniform portray better with the tank skin we chose. It can be a simple change like replacing the helmet.
First game in started fine, but within a couple of hours the performance slowly ground down to a stutterfest. Can't explain it.
Its hard if you play first time, i love strategies like hoi4, civil6, frostpunk and etc. Pretty good game
An excellent city-building simulator with a focus on economics and warfare.
Realy interesting setting/story but if you looking from globalism position this is most likely city building simulator
