Zaxterion: Space Frenzy!

Zaxterion - Space Frenzy is hands down the worst game I have ever played on Steam. As a huge fan of the classic game Asteroids, I was extremely disappointed with this supposed "remake" by ZaxtorGameS. The graphics are outdated and pixelated, the controls are clunky and unresponsive, and the gameplay is downright boring. Furthermore, the developer, ZaxtorGameS, clearly has no understanding of the original game or how to create a quality remake. The entire experience feels rushed and unpolished, with numerous glitches and bugs throughout. I highly recommend avoiding this game at all costs. Save your money and your time, and stick with the original Asteroids instead. Zaxterion - Space Frenzy is a waste of both. I bought this game because I saw a twitcher playing it for a about 6 hours last week and he seemed super into it and it looked pretty fun. This game is certainly addicting and it makes you want to play again and again not just to try and move up in the high scores that it shows you every time you game ends but to just top your own best score. I appreciated the 1,000 Zaxterion coins given to me as a new player that gave me the luxury to buy a couple of new ships. I must say that The Fusion is like asking for a fiery death because it moves so fast even at the base speed. It was a huge jump up from the ship you start off with but as I played it more, I started getting control of it and it's so much fun. I don't have enough Zaxteron to buy the next ship I want but I'm close and that's where the game hooks you! NOTE: If ZaxtorGames had a buy 9 get your 10th free punch card like some gas stations do for coffee and fountain drinks, this one would have been free. Unfortunately, ZaxtorGames is located in the US so I was forced to pull myself up by my metaphorical bootstraps and hustle up $8. I do watch his YouTube content and have chatted with him. I am not one to write reviews. This game is is definitely one that needs to be shared with others ! It's not your average 2d game that you can compare to others . May look like your average Asteroids game , but by far not . There is a lot to this game that will have you coming back for more . Plenty of achievements , enemies, and power ups. It is challenging , Keeps you saying just one more game to try to beat your own score . Love the different ship options to go with your individual game play style. The Developer does a great job of updating the game play by adding new enemies and content to keep you playing for hours on end . would give this game a 10/10
