This game would be fun except that a basic function of leveling the ground is nearly impossible because the dozer and grader don't work properly. The dozer will cut randomly into the ground, no matter how high you set your blade, it will sometimes delete the dirt in front of you (or to the side or behind or below) and sometimes will respawn that dirt underneath or behind you. The only machine that seems to function reasonably for leveling is the front end loader. Trying to use the roller or shovel for leveling is another exercise in futility, because, instead of "leveling" or "flattening", BOTH of these items just SMOOTH. Which is NOT THE SAME. Who on this earth would expect a roller weighing several tons to create semi-circular depressions (left-to-right) as you drive forward? Seriously, almost every piece of equipment right now is made obsolete by the front end loader, because its the only vehicle that behaves semi-rationally. The game has a ton of potential and mucking about i...

It needs a lot, and I mean a lot, of work. I got this like a year ago, immediately got rid of it, then grabbed it again after the updates put out after Jan of 2025. The new terrain and digging system is better I'll admit, but nothing else has improved so far in about 6 months. The main reason I realized for this is the dev team is too small and the feature creep is way too large. They've also ended up in a spot where they just seem to be reworking and fixing the existing game constantly and trying to add more to it at the same time. Its all rather unfocused and disorganized with what is even being worked on and why right now. What the developers need to do is either get 2 dev groups going, 1 to work on improving and reworking the existing game so its actually more playable then it is now and another to add new features. Or entirely focus on reworking what they already have created. Its much like people I know who are never content with the 3d models they've made and just constantly re...

thought this game would be kind of cool as I owned an excavation business a decade ago and I know how dirt works. I was WRONG, the physics are fundamentally broken. they constantly push new equipment while leaving the current stuff broken. A bulldozer, in real life, will not produce a pile of dirt UNDER the blade when it comes within a few inches of the ground. A pebble will stop and hold your multi tonne unit and high centre it and leave you stuck. I regret buying this game and its been way too long to ask for one, i even bought the DLC, what a waste of cash. Dont bother with this game until they fix the physics. The game is not worth the money in its current state

Honestly some of the worst vehicle physics I've ever seen in a vehicle game. Only vehicle which actually works and works well, is the roller. So if you like making parking lots then this game is for you. The vehicle physics of GMS are considerably better then this, and that's not saying much!!!! I understand this is a small Development group but honestly given the fact this game has been out for 3 years and the vehicles are still this bad gives me very little hope. I do however like the fact they've added some basic automation aspects to the game. It would add some diversity to the game if you can manage to make it to end game.

So I purchased the game. Really? Like the game. However, it doesn't save any of my progress. Or my experience. When I load a game it goes back to obviously the previous game but I have no experience, no gold. No minerals.

bought this 2 yrs ago it was completely unplayable. physics were horrible, dirt physics were horrible. vehicle physic were horrible. controls were horrible and so much more. now i try it 2 yrs later thinking it would be better and it has to an extent the controls are a little better still janky tho. the graphics got a smug better. not much stuttering anymore and a few other positives... but the bad things are the vehicle physics are still trash the digging aspect is still trash like how do i dig sideways by just touching the side of the bucket to the dirt? and what ever i touch loads into the buckets still and random mounds of dirt appear after digging a hole all because you touch the ground with the teeth of your bucket and all of a sudden there is a hole for no reason as you didn't even start digging the bulldozers don't level worth a shit the roller is trash and doesn't flatten just smooths shit out and so much more the tracks on the excavators spin fast as hell and don't grip the g...

Out of Ore has a lot of potential, but unfortunately the physics of many machines apart from the wheel loader are completely unusable. What bothers me just as much however is the order in which you unlock vehicles and the stats of these machines, some of which are completely wrong. For example, the same excavator (the 4000) just with a different bucket configuration weighs 359 tons and the other one weighs 109 tons? The loading capacity of the excavators also sometimes makes no sense at all in relation to their size. Once some of these problems are resolved, I'll definitely take another look at the game.

DO NOT PLAY, this is about as addictive as satisfactory, and somehow even more of a time sink. I love it.
