Game is poorly optimized and runs poorly for many people, even those with more than adequate hardware. The game would honestly have done much better if they'd released it at a different time and if the recommended specs weren't so high. The "minimum" specs listed are a joke, because the game is basically unplayable with older hardware. It's a shame, because there's some enjoyable gameplay here. I also didn't hate the story and characters as much as many other people seem to. I just wish I could have gotten a consistent, playable framerate.

It's at its best when the action is flowing. I liked the levels and had fun binding the weapons and abilities like it was a Quake setup. Upgrading was easy too and even on hard I only had to make a few changes every other chapter. I left a lot of health and skill upgrades on the table before finishing the story, and I managed ok. Some of the side bosses were more of a challenge than the main boss. There's too much storytelling. You loose control of your character a lot. It has life but I lost immersion when everyone started talking slang. I came for the magic but this was missing a lot of texture. You're going to absolutely hate the FOV, it maxes out at 90, but you can change GameUserSettings.ini to use vertical values. No chapter select, there is NG+. Some missable collectibles, the rest you can revisit after the story. Also some missable achievements but with a guide you can plan ahead. Save files are in Local appdata. You'll need another pass to get 1300 kills. My gpu is sli...

I like parts of this game, but other parts are really bad. Story is bad woke writing, but it's not the worst, it's just at the 'kind of irritating' level, not the 'punch monitor' level. Game play is mostly okay. Mid plus shooter based on magic, But I'm posting a bad review because the game is full of secrets but while looking for the switches you jump onto say, a lava island, and slide right off into the lava because they didn't want you to land there. If it's on sale, under ten bucks, it's a maybe, but don't expect too much. I'll keep playing.

It's not "bad", but so far from being good either. It's basically a fruity version of Doom Eternal with worse writing, worse enemies, worse weapon selection, less lifeless world, and a more contrived plot. It's one of those games that you buy on sale, play it because," hey you spent a few bucks on it". But, it's toeing the line of being just entertaining enough to see it through.

For 3h I have the feeling of going to a tuttorial zone the one after the others. Charaters are awful. Commands are awful (use the same bouton to jump, double jump and hover; you never now which one you activate) glad I spend 9€ for this.

Forspoken-like litter. Actually Forspoken a little better than this piece of work

I started the game knowing nothing about it and went in blind expecting something fun and unique only to find that oh boy another WOKE game where your non masculine male character follows his lesbian boss girl charcter no no no no no. SAY NO TO WOKE. Bring back gaming like it was in the early 2000's.

Game starts pretty interesting but very soon its gets really boring. Gameplay is not bad but the characters and story really take a dump after a few hours. Cant see where the good press is coming from, it just feels like a different version of Doom, but worse.
